Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.5/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great ideas, bad (technical) execution. I love the atmosphere, the tone and humor, how the enemies and biomes are varied. The game has some interesting bugs, annoying visual glitches, and a HUGE UI/UX problem. The skill trees are very meh, although some specific weapons and skills make for nice combinations. Combat feels sluggish a lot of the time, especially when parrying is important. The mapping on joystick is... ehhh I'd still recommend this with a super heavy discount since the ideas are really cool to play with a bit.
Metroidvania imperdible.

Buen Soulsvania. Recomendado.
Death's Gambit is a tough sell to recommend. I first played this in 2019, and I hated it. This isn't a bad game per-say, but it can be very slow. Like Hollow Knight/Metroid/Castlevania... literally any game that deals with backtracking, you're not going to know what to do until you progress. Dying isn't that bad, and is expected - instead of losing currency as other reviewers have noted, you just temporarily lose one of your healing items, which stack; can be very forgiving in that sense. As of this review, I've played this about 2-3 times now. I love the VA and sound design for the areas/locations. Aesthetic is gloomy, but a lot of the characters have.... character. Very verbose. Specifics: level design is very forgiving. No fast travel at first, but you can use a horse for a horizontal high-way. Lots of secrets - npcs, weapons, healing, etc. unless you use a guide then you'll probably have to play again- especially
because there's 2-3 (4 technically) endings which you can do one of them at a time. Assuming you comb most the game
I actually really liked my time - but unless you play by its rules, then it isn't a whole lot of fun. The game even critiques this at a few points, which I thought was a nice touch. Last, I really want to touch on bosses though. They aren't fun, or at least most aren't. I don't mind difficulty, but often times there are no safe areas. Personally, couldn't figure out parrying, so I ended up memorising attack patterns for dodging, which made learning tedious- I don't think this is how you're supposed to play. In any case, going back strength builds seem the most well balanced (axe, great-sword) and was the style I developed, though I also tried Wizard & Reaper for awhile. If you take anything away from this review though, I'd give varying advice depending on your personality. If dying's no problem, and you have about 10-15 hrs to kill, the game's main story (there's a rough story btw) should take about that long. Give or take - and, grinding doesn't appear to be necessary, but experimentation helps. So, again, if* that sounds too much, then don't get this game, otherwise, I think you'll find a gem - one I almost passed on as well.
