Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dead Space 3 is the weakest game in the trilogy, and unfortunately, it's not even close. Dead Space 1 was an incredible survival horror experience, while Dead Space 2 successfully pushed the formula toward action without completely losing its identity. Dead Space 3 goes way too far. The survival horror is almost gone. The oppressive atmosphere, resource management, tension, and feeling of vulnerability that made the first two games so good have been replaced by a much more conventional action game. You fight huge waves of Necromorphs, but encounters quickly become repetitive and rarely create the same tension as before. The introduction of human enemies is also a terrible design choice. Fighting generic soldiers feels completely out of place in a Dead Space game and makes the experience feel even more like a third-person shooter. The weapon crafting system is interesting in theory, but it completely changes the philosophy of the previous games. Instead of finding and upgrading a limited selection of weapons, you can build increasingly powerful weapons from collected resources. It also originally included optional microtransactions for purchasing crafting materials, which is particularly questionable in a survival horror game. The game also feels unnecessarily long and repetitive, especially once you reach Tau Volantis. The environments are less memorable, enemy encounters are frequently recycled, and some gameplay sections are repeated far too often. The co-op campaign is probably the most interesting addition, with John Carver bringing some unique psychological elements to the experience. But Dead Space was never a franchise that needed co-op, and designing around it comes at the expense of the atmosphere and isolation that made the previous games so effective. There are still some good moments, and the core shooting and dismemberment mechanics remain enjoyable, but that's simply not enough. Dead Space 3 is not a terrible action game. It's just a disappointing Dead Space game. If you want the real Dead Space experience, play the first two instead.
I couldnt play the game since i had an audio problem. After the first cutscene the audio quality becomes poorly and i found no solution in game or online to fix it, this is also the only game ive had this problem with.
imagine cracking yo girl but its actually a marker hallucination and she's already a necromorph do you pull out or keep going?🤔
Genuinely a downgrade from previous entries in the series. The combat felt repetitive and grew stale quickly with flocks of enemies easily overrunning you. I understand this was supposed to be a co-op game, but the singleplayer experience was fully neglected in favour of the multiplayer. I never found myself needing to actually manage my items as I never ran out of anything because the game throws so much at you assuming you're two players. Additionally, the game is poorly optimised in this port. At least it's not as bad as Dead Space 2 which literally required my to tinker with the game files to fix lighting issues. In terms of story, the game introduces a boring villain with a very unsatisfying send-off and weird character decisions, dialogue, and behaviour that makes Isaac, Ellie, and the rest of the supporting cast really insufferable and difficult to like. Also, the game really forces dialogue on you every 2 minutes you make progress with random characters tuning in, really having nothing to say, just to fill the void. Because of it, I never felt scared or like there was tension. For the environments and level design, the game took such a drastic shift from the previous two, I genuinely wonder what they were thinking making this game. This game feels so out of place in this franchise and ruins the characters I grew to like in the previous games. Simply enjoy the two first ones and ignore this one exists.
Dead Space.
They shut down the servers to let you spend ration seals but don't worry, the DLC to pay to get more ration seals is still full price.
