Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Still great

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

- Replaying this after playing 1 Remake and I'm really surprised how similarly they handle. I thought I was going to go back to a clunky and heavy Isaac like OG1 but no, it's fast-paced and doesn't stop. - There's a bit of a negative there that there's not really any time to just breathe and explore as there's no exploration at all, it's just "follow the path". I liked the "Metroidvania"ness of 1 with revisiting areas and areas looping back on themselves to unlock shortcuts (like Resident Evil, etc.) but that's absent from 2, which is whatever but I like exploring. - Despite all that, 2 still slaps as an action game in a horror setting. - I did download a mod called "Marker Patch" which fixed some issues for the PC version, like physics spazzing out if played higher than 30FPS, Vsync issues, better mouse support, bodies don't disappear, various texture/shading/lighting improvements, faster loading times, in-game achievements added from console versions, "server connection error" messages removed from the Shop seeing as EA's servers are permanently offline, plus much more.
One of the greatest science fiction and survival horror games ever made. A personal favorite, I remember being even more blown away by dead space 2 than I was the original when it released. I have been playing the series since it first came out, and this one is my favorite of the trilogy. Played offline mostly using my steam deck, but I have plenty of hours in it. It just sucks that the DLC severed never got carried over to PC.
love the game favorite horror game ever since i was a kid
10/10 con todo el afan de alagar
sida espacial piscologico... 10/10
I swear to god, I want the "Zealot Suit" so bad, it looks like the LSTR (Elster unit) Replika from "SIGNALIS"
Pretty much a strict improvement over the first game with meaty combat, a decent storyline, some actually unnerving areas, and good art direction. The biggest negative comes from the pacing due to constant hallucination segments and unskippable technically-not cutscenes, but the first playthrough experience is mostly fine, those just damper replay value a bunch. Keep in mind, GET the Marker Patch, it is very simple to install and makes the port go from nearly unplayable to completely fine
