Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Darksiders III is another strong entry in a series I’ve always considered a cult classic. I’ve played all the Darksiders games, and this franchise has always had its own very specific identity — the art style, the combat, the puzzles, the exploration, the strange mix of mythology and apocalypse, and of course the Four Horsemen: War, Death, Fury and Strife. In Darksiders III, you play as Fury, and the combat feels a little different from the earlier games, but it still has that unmistakable Darksiders DNA. This whole series is worth playing. Each game feels different, but they all share the same dark fantasy atmosphere, satisfying combat and unique world design. If you like action-adventure games, mythology, demons, angels and apocalyptic fantasy, Darksiders is absolutely worth your time.
Awesome game, trying to plat it
———————————— Fans of the old Darksiders IP are not recommended to get this one. Unlike the previous installment, it’s completely shifted to a Souls-like style. But it’s just copying the formula without really learning the essence of Souls games. The combat is not satisfying at all, and the addition of the transformation system doesn’t improve the poor combat. The boss fights are terrible—I suspect the development team didn’t put much effort into designing them. The maps just add difficulty points without ever delivering that ‘wow’ feeling after clearing them. Because of that, the only part you actually remember after finishing is the puzzle-solving. The open-ended ending is hard to immerse yourself in, and you really don’t feel like thinking about the possible follow-ups. (The devs tried to integrate the heroine’s emotional journey into the main story, but with almost no dialogue scenes and very brief cutscenes, they fail to show the protagonist’s transformation, which feels really abrupt. In the end, it’s actually better if she had just stayed decisive and ruthless, dismissive of everything.)
It's functional and cheap, dumb fun that scratches an itch. That's the recommendation over. There are many gripes and annoyances, some of which can be put down to age some of which are just bad choices. Frankly though at under £7 on sale for the deluxe edition I'm not going to complain. It's mostly dark souls with some hack and slash. Do not play this for the story. The already baffling and bad story actively contradicts the established cannon. Fury lives up to her name, and as such has a kinda fun personality, even if it normally involves having the attitude of the person behind you in the queue at the store whose clearly in a rush. Still, the fact that everyone else in the story knows what morons the Horseman are, and how self-sabotaging Fury is, really works.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I recently played through all 3 games and I thoroughly enjoyed this video game! The first one was an average hack n slash adventure with a good setting and interesting story to keep me hooked. The second game was a pleasant surprise after coming from the first, the RPG aspects were such a breath of fresh air and added so much depth. After 10 hours though I was already tired of the same puzzles being recycled and had enough which definitely soured my overall experience. I kept with it for the story and was satisfied. The third game was also another surprise seeing it turned into a "souls-like" the first few hours felt fresh again and wasn't overwhelmed by repetitive puzzles. The exploration mechanic tied to her forms which I thought was super cool. Fury is a likeable protagonist, sadly her story wasn't as fleshed out as it could be but I respect how they tried with the constraints and everything that happened and was made possible for this game to be made, It's not a perfect game, but it's a fun game and I love the lore, stories and settings of all 3 games. Anybody who is interested in this game, I would highly recommend you play through all 3! (you can get them all on sale for around $15 in total!) Honestly I believe all 3 games are pretty equal and all are extremely enjoyable in their own way while keeping a coherent story for you to enjoy across all games. I am super excited for 4 and can't wait to jump into Genesis!
A horseman to be a woman character was hard for me but when I understand her, how weak she looked by her brothers and other nameless things you will encounter you will get her point so don't be judgeful when she looks weak in the combat, she is important and you are going to hunt the very thing maybe every woman's worst nightmare in the final. So I recommended it but especially for woman players. It's a good experience 8/10

Finally cleared this game from my backlog and I had a really good time with it. I know most people say the second one is the best one, but I found DS 2 such a chore to get through. This game was quick, focussed with satisfying combat, and a main character I actually really appreciated by the end. It can be punishing and the camera will get you killed from time to time which is not great but once you get the rhythm down, the combat is satisfying, especially experimenting with the different weapons. Would absolutely recommend for fans of the series and those who enjoy a good souls light.
