Darkest Dungeon®: The Fire's Edge

The Fire's Edge is a decent DLC that offers 2 characters from Darkest Dungeon 2 that in my opinion they work better in this game. The Runaway basically offers a new burn mechanic that is pretty useful especially in certain boss fights and Duelist is a damage dancer that's a little complex but she's really good. It also offers new trinkets with some new mechanics. I recommend if you're already a big fan of those 2 characters or you just want something new in Darkest Dungeon

I decided to play again after buying the DLC, but in fact, it hasn't changed anything in my play. New heroes in the couch > more waiting for the best ones and more useless dedicated trinkets. Too bad. I can pay twice more, but i expect something like crimson court.

Darkest Dungeon 1 is still their crown jewel, and this DLC is just more of a good thing. Duelist is a pseudo 'Transformation' character like ABOM, where you have access to all your buttons all the time via 'transforming' between stances. This makes her have over 6 options every time her turn comes up, and she's very versatile. So far she fits right in among other characters that like to constantly move positions like Shieldbreaker and Highwayman. Runaway introduces with her a number of Fire DoT mechanics and seems pretty interesting. Fire plays very differently than Bleed and Blight. I don't fully understand how to master this character but they seem fun. New districts are very interesting, one generating you trinkets every week, while the other gives you free random heirlooms. I think I might try getting the heirloom district before I build my bank. Overall, fun and worthwhile. These characters have existed on the workshop for awhile, but its nice to support the developers with this port of DD2's new characters.

Много обзоров на англ, поэтому напишу на рус. Беглянка применяет огонь и в целом она имбаланс, так же в какой то мере имбаланс и дуэлянт. Одна закидывает огнем который уже с нулевой дает минимум 7 урона(с каждым ударом больше в 1.4 раза) а если добивать дуэлянтом то она за 1 ход может всех убить. Плюс никакого баланса с другими персонажами нет, они как будто сами по себе просто существуют. В цирке их тоже нет, поэтому на данный момент дополнение сырое, видимо для привлечения внимания. Но какой смысл начинать играть заново ради проверки новых персонажей я не знаю
