Взяв тут платину. Чудова гра, унікальна атмосфера. В порівнянні з першою частиною набагато довша, боси складніші, їх більше набагато, локацій дофіга. Також найкращий пвп й баланс зброї тут
I played vanilla Dark Souls 2 back in the day and enjoyed it, but never got around to playing SotFS. It honestly kind of sucks. I am pushed to slog through because I have heard the DLC content is excellent but they really messed up the base game areas. One of the biggest complaints of Dark Souls 2 when it came out, beyond the unexplained stats like ADP, was that the levels were a lot smaller and less interconnected than the first game. It seems like the philosophy behind SotFS was to pad out these smaller areas by doubling the number of enemies, in order to force you to move through them very slowly, methodically pulling single enemies with a ranged weapon to avoid getting overwhelmed. Now it's easy to say, "Well, I enjoy that slow-paced gameplay!", and that's all well and good...until you factor in how invasions work. You can only avoid invasions for 30 minutes at a time so you can play as slowly and methodically as you want but, inevitably, you will be invaded by a sweat. So much for being methodical. In the words of Mike Tyson, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face". All of your slow and methodic gameplay suddenly gets thrown out the window when you are invaded 30+ minutes from the last bonfire, and your only options are to turn back and fight the invader with no health or estus, or press on and get ganked by him while fighting a horde of enemies. I have no idea why the item to avoid invasions was set on a timer, and why that timer seems like just enough time to deplete your resources but not quite make it to the next bonfire. It was a lot nicer in the first game, when you could just stay undead if you wanted to avoid PVP. In Dark Souls 2, you're forced to either deal with constant sweat-invasion (just imagine the type of person still actively playing DS2 pvp in 2026) or just play offline, which robs you of the messaging mechanic. Dark Souls 2 has always been a fundamentally flawed game. Enemies have janky animations, and many do this thing where they kind of slide on the ground to end up where they need to be to connect with an attack. There is a stat that is completely necessary to simply playing the game properly (ADP) and the game does not explain it to you at all. Still, I was able to get through the vanilla one because, like most From games, it had a lot of unique charm -- the dual wielding system is great, and it honestly feels more like a precursor to Elden Ring than either DS1 or 3. But too many of these fundamental flaws are further compounded by problems added to SotFS for me to recommend it in 2026.
