JUEGO DE MRD IMDB 100/10
Extremely underrated game, just get used to ADP or mod it out (I like ADP so I keep it). I also recommend the path tracing mod, my 9070 XT can do it in 4k so it's not very demanding. Anyway the world in this game feels so different than 1 and 3 it feels more similar to Elden Ring, I love all the Soulsbornering games almost equally but it's fun to have a different atmosphere. I am still trying to figure out how this one connects to 2 and 3 but I have seen a lot of similar things that I didn't notice last time.

easily better than ds1 and ds3 no competition
Game seems fine, but ♥♥♥♥ whoever designed the keybinds menu and decided that controler players on PC dont get to change their keybinds. Also, the default controls on my Nintendo controller are unplayable, I dont have access to heavy attacks or auto aim. In addition the game also refuses to recognise my controler if I use steam input to change my keybinds, so I cant really do much about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ default ones. Ive spent an entire weekend trying to get the game to recognise my controller and it just won't, I'm faced with a choice between playing with keyboard and mouse or playing with awful controls. At this point in time I would rather shoot myself than do either of those two things.
I would rather use a working blender as a fleshlight than play this game again.
Well here I am, giving a positive rating to a game I remembered hating for three years. After replaying it and unlocking all achievements for a second time I can say DS2 is a weird case, it does a couple things good, others extremely questionable. I think what really helped me this time around was going in with the mindset that the game was good, which did lead to some enjoyable moments. However this game is deeply flawed, compared to even Dark Souls 1 it feels miserably clunky and awkward. Many enemies feel frustrating to fight and much of the difficulty (especially in NG+ and onwards) boils down to cramming more enemies into a space. Few things stick out as really memorable, including essentially all aspects; areas, bosses, characters, music. The three DLC:s are a mixed bag. Sunken King is utmost forgettable, Iron King has a cool final boss, but is otherwise frustrating, and Ivory King is good save for the Frigid Outskirts. Nothing really stands out about this game, which is also kind of why it just barely manages to squeeze out a positive rating from me. It's extremely alright, fine, mid. Dark Souls 2 isn't horrible, but a far cry from the other two games in the series.
