Peggior souls e souls like mai creato, input delay assurdo con nemici che ti colpiscono mentre rolli, tasti scritto solo con i simboli xbox e non pc, screen tearing in ogni frame del gioco

If you forget about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitboxes, lack of animation canceling, horrible enemy placements, broken boss AI, corny writing and the horrible ADP mechanic... It's still a pretty ♥♥♥♥ game. Has Emerald Herald tho, so worth playing.

:)
although dark souls 3 takes the title of best souls game by far, this game is a very close second. it suffers from lackluster bosses, with the few notable ones being easily overshadowed by bosses from ds3, and world discontinuity (earthen peak->iron keep and others). however, when it comes to aspects beyond gameplay, this game really does shine. the game art direction is genius and it can be seen easily in the first few areas, with heides tower of flame's seas and bright sun, majula's warm and welcoming feeling, forest of fallen giants' dilapidated look setting up context for a story we learn much later. there are many other examples, but these are the first few you see when you make a new character. another thing not often attributed to ds2 is its narrative. it is such a rich and compelling story, questioning the philosophy of the undead curse, linking the flame, or beginning an age of dark. the chosen undead destroying manus in ds1, in a way, caused the events of ds2 to occur. this game touches on manus' activity after the ds1 dlc and tells the tragedy of 4 different kings: vendrick, and the 3 dlc kings. i would definitely recommend this game to anyone willing to give it a shot, its definitely a vastly different experience than ds1 or ds3, with a plethora of new mechanics being introduced (and maybe not fully polished). if youre going for the 100%, delete the game now before you commit horrible acts of self harm because thats all this game incites
