Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An old classic. I was quite impressed as I have never played this game before. It's a solid point and click horror game with great narrative depth and interesting, detailed environments. The voice acting is surprisingly good and overall, it's a fun experience. The puzzles are difficult but not impossible and I only looked at a walkthrough for a couple points that I just happened to miss while exploring on my own. Overall, a solid old game. No technical difficulties other than it's locked to a certain scale in fullscreen but I had no issue with it.
If you must use a word to describe Dark Fall, the word is "evocative". It is so very evocative, of so very many things. Fascinating, captivating, thrilling, vaguely disturbing, all else follows. Gameplay? Game design? Quality of life? None of that matters. Dark Fall creates a world and speaks to you through it. You're almost literally dropped into it, at the very entrance, led on by voices and vibes. There's a reason you don't see another living being; there's a reason cello strings are being fretfully plucked on the first floor, why half the rooms are lit by Tiffany lamps, why all the interior stairs leading down seem oddly to be leading up. Dark Fall is being evocative. The ancient 3D graphics are layered with crunchy texture and colors that pop across the eye: walls so green they almost look like Scheele's, deep cool purples, the aforementioned Tiffany lamps, smudges of smoke on the walls around the frames of old lithographs, rich reds and browns, all in contrast with the dried, rotting wood and corroded metal of the train station. Every time you open a door you wait for something to be on the other side. Every time you hear someone shuffling around or stomping upstairs you wonder if they're getting closer. You hear snatches of local accents in the air. talking to you. Once in a while a train steams by with a lonely whistle in the night, on a line long since disused. Out there in the darkness, someone is whistling. Dark Fall evokes a point in recent history not often discussed, especially in adventure games (at least in my experience): the reality of average British life during World War II, scraping carrot ends and prettied-up leftover pork into a pot and calling it a meal. Dark Fall evokes the dream had by anyone in love with history: to find a ruin, a relic, so pristine and well-kept that it's as though the inhabitants simply walked away sixty years ago. Dark Fall evokes M.R. James and H.P. Lovecraft, but in every journal entry and every odd bit of lore, it firmly remains its own beast. If you play anything from this developer, play Dark Fall. It feeds you scraps of character and story and leaves you to color in the gaps. There's no running commentary from a protagonist, no tepid jumpscares, no struggles to animate other characters, not even a journal (ironically). It thrives within its boundaries, exceeds its limitations, and beyond anything else, it is evocative. There is nothing else like it.

less of a puzzle and more of a 'click on everything until something happens'
Sapphire and Steel 👍
One of the best classic point & click games. Well thought out, well executed, and it pulls you in even for a decades old game that should feel archaic and unintuitive for modern sensibilities. It still works and it isn't plagued by retro-on-modern jank like so many of its contemporaries.
Reseña de Dark Fall: The Journal

Game is hot caca
recommend for: - lore and characters, voice acting - subtle, spooky atmosphere - the horror™ - a lot of the puzzles are logical and can be solved intuitively by exploring and reading the files, connecting the information - contained escape room like location. not overwhelming didn't like: - some objects, puzzle solutions or whole areas are very missable which is frustrating and leads you to having to consult a guide, which kind of ruins the fun (i have experienced this issue with pretty much every point&click game ever, though)
while the idea of this game is at least pretty solid as a spooky point and click game, i think it falls short of being a good game as you get such a broad set of information and not a lot in terms of getting that information to the puzzle it needs to be at, even finding where the locks are can be tricky as each area gets scanned up and down with the pointer and the sequel doesn't seem to be any better in this regard a lot of viewing spots don't seem to have much purpose, and much of the written information is to further expand on the lore rather than be used on puzzles, but you may have to read it anyway to get a hint, or the information is otherwise useless it does make me wish more games had a system where you could see all the interactable on the screen, like in "dracula origins" as i would have been more invested in getting to the end without the substantial re checking that a puzzle may require so, really wouldn't recommend it unless you just really like checking every screen until something of note is found
