14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best RU #84, worst CN #96 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Sep 9 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best games are made with love and are fueled by passion. This game was made with malice, and is fueled by vitriol. I played the first Danganronpa and it left me hopeful and wishing for more. I played the 2nd and it left me a bit irritated but ultimately satisfied. I left this one after the 4th trial because I got the picture, and the picture was that the game mocked me. What can I say? It is the same formula, but this time, something felt off. It started with the 1st trial where a major plot twist just pissed me off. It felt like burning down your house just so you can cook a great meal. You lose more than you gain. The story tries to pull off plot points and tropes from the previous game... but I could see that it wasn't genuine. The more the game lasted, I felt like the game didn't want to give me a story, but to give me pain. The murder mysteries ranged from bizzare to nonsensical, Some new characters were so bad I wished them gone, the "executions" were just filth porn(in the last one I just turned off the monitor), and so much content was set up to go nowhere. After the 4th trial I thought I got the picture, and reading the spoilers I saw I was right. This game was made the Ryan Johnson way - not to entertain the player, but to tease and "outsmart" them. I appreciate games the respect the player, not trying to belittle them. I play games in order to challenge my skills and connect with a story, and this entry does not deliver. If you like the Ryan Johnson/Neil Druckmann way of writing a story, maybe this one's for you. But it definitely wasn't for me.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

El final me hace querer sacarme los ojos con una cuchara. 10/10.
Before I even played v3, sdr2 already vastly exceeded my expectations. I loved the way it made me fall for even the weakest in its cast through sheer exposure, and tragically ripped the front-runners away from me again and again in beautiful despair. I loved all of the iterations it made on that lightning-in-a-bottle dgr formula- its murders and trials and everything involved were more maximalist and high-energy than ever, and continually one-upped themselves as I went deeper. And, I loved the work it put in as a sequel, the way it managed to retain such a strong sense of identity while providing some sweet, much needed narrative closure to its predecessor as well. Then, v3 once again blew everything out of the water. I already expected the aforementioned aspects to be taken to the logical next step (which it didn’t disappoint with), but where V3 truly stands alone is in its minutiae. Its downtime, its character moments, its emotional beats, and its exploration of the theme of “Is seeking the truth always the right thing to do?” all drive its cast and narrative forward in a way that’s incredibly compelling and beautiful. Kodaka immediately made me cry more in 8 hours of v3 than other vns have in 80, and didn’t gave me a chance to recover until the final trial, where the "twist" made me love and respect it all the more. Miracle vn, and just the perfect conclusion to such a special series.
Danganronpa V3 was a very good game to say the least. If I have to be honest I really didn't like this game that much when I first started playing it. But after completing it, it was probably one of the best in the series. I also felt like I didn't struggle as much on the class trials as I did on the past two games in the series. The twist at the end was pretty shocking but I will not spoil that part obviously. Also I HATED ANGIE!!!! She was probably the worst character in V3. That is my honest review on Danganronpa V3.
I personally believe that this game doesn't nearly live up to the standards set by the first 2 games, though I dont think this game is ENTIRELY horrible. While there's much that I dislike, there are some things that I do enjoy about this game. But to give a quick insight on how I feel about this game, DO NOT play it after chapter 5. (no spoilers btw) What I did like about the game: The ui imo is a lot better than the first 2 games, and the art style is pretty nice. I also really liked 1st, 4th, and 5th trials. In my opinion they definitely stood out the most and lived up to the standards of the first 2 games for me. Funnily enough, chapter 5 is definitely one of my most favorite out of all danganronpa chapters (including the previous games), which I found surprising. I also like how the characters nicely embody/represent their talents, which is something I believe the first game sort of lacked. I believe most of the characters are boring or uninteresting, though the ones that I did end up liking really helped make up for how boring this game felt to me. In fact, I think Kokichi is one of the best characters in the entire series. What I didn't like about the game: I honestly believe that the majority of this game is super boring and I felt like I was forcing myself to get through it. I think the majority of the characters talents and personalities are kinda boring. For example, I think Kaito is one of the coolest characters, but his talent itself is too uninteresting for him to be such a cool personality, in my opinion of course. I also thought the addition of the monokubs was a bit cliche so I ended up not liking them much at all (though after seeing the ending it makes sense why they were added into this game). Weirdly enough, In the beginning I mostly enjoyed only the freetime and events, since I ended up really disliking the 2nd and 3rd trial, though after chapter 3 this would completely flip for me (meaning I ended up enjoying the 4th, 5th, and partially the 6th trials and started disliking the freetimes). Though that's just because most of my favorite characters died so it'll likely be different for everyone else. Now I'll admit, the trials in this game are pretty genius, but the 2nd and 3rd trials really just dont do it for me, and are the lowlights of the entire game imo. Even if they are well thought out in concept. The trials end up feeling dragged out and just plain boring, I can't really put it any better than that. They're all also super easy or just plain obvious who the blackened is. I also think the lying is a super stupid feature, especially if you're playing as a detective. It doesn't make any sense, it always feels forced and kinda defeats the entire purpose of trying to find the truth. I mean a lie is LITERALLY meant to hide the truth, but I won't go on about that. Next, I believe this game plays it way too "safe". To be honest it plays the exact same as the first 2 games. And don't get me wrong, it makes sense for it to have the same gameplay as the first 2, but after going through those 2 really long games I'm kinda over seeing the same freetime/investigation/trial cycle over and over yk. I just feel like things could've been switched up a bit. I won't speak too much on the ending, but it is EXTREMELY cliche and lazily written. It is truly the biggest, most awful, most tragic ending written in human history. So im feeling very 3.5/10 for this game.
