Prices

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played on Switch. Excited for sequel!
i think deciding to not make this game open world is the best

Great game. Even better at 80% off.
I gave this game a shot after reading many mixed messages on it and putting it off for years. I'm glad i finally did. I made a review a few hours into playing. Time to revise it now i finished the game. I played all the armored core games 1 through 6. And i feel comfortable saying, that it's a love letter to them. It sits in a bit of an awkward middle ground since i'm sure many people here will be comparing it either to the old games or to armored core 6. It's not quite either. The movement is comfortable but not quite as good as ac6. The mech design is fun. Progression is decent, if a bit grindy if you want all the parts. Refreshing in a way coming from older ac games where money becomes obsolete after a while if you play decently. But also there's not much risk involved nor does bringing heavier weapons bring extra cost etc. Not a bad tradeoff. My first real gripe is with the combat. I have mixed feelings about it. It's not bad.. It feels great to play actually, but the game is just too easy. I do not think i have ever had a problem surviving a fight. Not once. Even when using light parts and not even really utilizing the mobility all that effectively it's just not an issue. Some enemies have rocket launchers and they've staggered me a few times and i've gotten confused before on what happened because i took so little damage it didn't register for me i got staggered by a massive projectile. The only issue i've ever faced in combat is running out of ammo, and that's just because i used gun arms for a while and didn't bring a backup melee. There's also no reason to ever bring a different built than the one you're comfortable with. Having said all of that... I recognize i'm a vet who played all of the armored core franchise.. Most entries of which can be quite hard, especially the older ones. I'd love to see how a person new to games like this fares with it. It might be a decent entry point honestly. Now.. the story.. I'll start off with the positives.. The characters and the voice acting are fantastic. It's a vibrant cast of characters. The english voice for every single one is great in my eyes. The story also starts off fairly strong. But... it's quite cliche. It takes the fomula of armored core games, puts just enough of a spin on it to make it interesting, adds a ton of vibrancy through characters... But it's really a bit of a bore once you get to the end if i'm being honest. Too much.. sophistry. Too much.. empty philosophy that doesn't in the end really lead anywhere serious. Think shounen stories about friendship and hope type stuff at a time where you're really craving and expecting something with a little more substance. As if there's a layer missing entirely to the story. None of the conflicts between corporations really amount to anything either. I feel like they're just there to be a nod to the corporate struggles in armored core but very under utilized. There's just not that much depth to that, to the players goals, or even the antagonist goals feel like just a plot device in order to carry the cool stories of this cast of characters. Now the cast is really good, And throughout the game i found myself wanting to know more about them. And i'm glad i stuck with it and since i got the sequel on humble bundle i'll for sure be playing that too. I honestly do not get the negativity i've seen on this game online. It really scratches the itch for me of not having played armored core in a while. it has it's charm. It is definitely not as good in my personal opinion as any armored core game for the simple reason that the challenge just isn't there. I could play any armored core game now having already beaten those games and feel more challenge from a random low tier arena mission than i did from the final boss in this game. In fact.. I ran out of ammo once.. And tried to die to its attacks and it took forever because even standing still it could barely hit me... I had to physically throw myself at its attacks. So if you're looking for challenge alone, it'll disappoint. Perhaps the multiplayer aspects are really fun and challenging though? I haven't tried those.
