Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'd describe Daemon X Machina as Armored Core 6: Lite. It has all the bones of a great mech action game but just mildly falls short of a few aspects. Its more accessible than AC6 and would be a good starting place for those interested in the genre. $20 feels reasonable. The gameplay loop is fun and there's a good amount of metagame involved where you're regularly developing and acquiring new parts that feels challenging without becoming overwhelming. Rarely did I ever hit a difficulty wall and need to spend significant time grinding for new parts. Most of the enjoyment was in the gameplay and the fast paced arcadey feel which made for good 30-60 minute sessions. For myself, the controls took a little getting used to but after a handful of missions it all starts clicking. The Arsenal's stats all do affect its performance on mission, however you can't ever get away from the "floaty" feel of the Arsenal. No matter how heavy your Arsenal is, it still will weightlessly glide through the air and have that slight delay in response time due to momentum, but for some reason all builds just feel a little off. Basic customization is all there and you have decent cosmetic options for both your Outer and Arsenal but it lacks the freedom that AC6 allowed. You're allowed only 1 decal per part group which doesn't provide for much expression. Decals are also unlocked by completing certain mission and milestones or found in the environment during a mission which further restricts the level of customization. While there's a full HEX pallet you can paint your Arsenal with, I would've also liked some finish options other than the standard gloss. The story is pretty surface level and some cutscenes can go on way too long with nothing happening. Dialogue feels like a poorly written anime that isn't even laughable, just bad and bland. The voice acting is all great and I think the actors delivered their lines to the best of their ability given the direction and writing. In the last leg of the story, the mission variety simplifies significantly and its more of a rush to the end than anything else. About mid-way through there was some intriguing foreshadowing that seemed to have been either lost in the finale, or I completely missed or misunderstood its resolution. End-game/Post-game is fairly lacking and there's little else to do after the story's resolution other than to complete the side-objectives and unlock all the parts. From here the remaining content changes to co-op missions which are a change of pace but ultimately aren't intriguing enough to drive a long end-game. I think these devs did a great job with the game and committed to an interesting art style. I'm looking forward to the sequel which should hopefully address the mild problems with the game.

It is really boring. Game pretends to be a visual novel. If your combat is boring in combat based game and can't hook up player it is a bad game. Even the customization can't keep me playing, weapons, armor, your own mecha, cool paint on mecha, it all doesn't matter because combat sucks.
In short, Armored Core if you bought it off Temu. Gameplay is an awful farce that reaches mid at best. You're supposed to be a pilot in decently large mech, but the movement and gunplay is incredibly weak and floaty. Enemies are numerous and useless, until you have to fight other "pilots," which are almost never a challenge. And when they are, they still only rate as mildly difficult, and only because they're capable of cheating and literally teleport around the map or being unrealistic bullet sponges. You'll always be confined to an awful box with a terrible height limitation that will take all control away from you if you violate it. And if you lose your "arsenal" as they refer to your mech, you can proceed to run around on foot as a pilot. But this is just a slow death sentence as there's literally nothing you can do against your opponent outside of rare circumstances. Missions themselves are fast and numerous, but still make the game slog on forever as you need to replay and grind several of them if you want any hopes of making an effective arsenal. Graphics are meh. It's what you'd expect for an early Switch level game. Not the worst, but very subpar and feels bad to look at for extended times. Effects are mid and too flash at best, overused and just, gross at worst. Audio is forgettable. Recycles stock sound effects that will easily become background noise, and an awful soulless soundtrack you're better off muting. All of this would just make the game simple bland, or dull. Still not a good game, but not the worst thing in the Mecha genre. But then they had to try and make a story. That's the part that destroys this game entirely and thoroughly. The characters interact with each other like awful NPC bots, repeating phrases and colloquialisms without actually knowing what they mean, or to the point that they're clearly overused in an attempt to make a terribly simplistic story feel more epic than it actually is. The effect actually works in reverse, making the entire experience feel trite and repulsive. At one point, a character actually points out a contradiction in the game plot, making the entire mess ironic in the process. The story is both insipidly stupid and grossly nonsensical, it feels like it was written by a rudimentary and very early AI. It contains so many farces and awfully cringy tropes, it would be rejected from even the cringiest kamen rider episode. Sitting through the cutscenes where they have mecha move and choreograph like live stage performers while the pilots sit in ultra dark ironman-esque cockpits is so painful to watch, it manifests as actual physical discomfort. More than once, the story will contradict itself within the same sentence. The deeper you get into it, the more infuriatingly shallow it becomes, feeling more like they came up with twists and lore and resolutions on the spot instead of actually writing and developing a world. World ending plots and characters appear without reason or due development. The game actively suffers from trying to weave a terrible story into it. As half-baked as the rest of this awful program is, it would have benefited from having nothing at all for the story instead of this rancid trash. I've played the plethora of mech/mecha games. Some pretty bad ones too, like Front Mission: Evolved. I would rather replay that game than have to think about this one again. And I played every mission in this game so I could understand it and properly take it apart. I can honestly and truthfully say that this is a waste of binary data, and anyone that thinks favorably of it should be judged with suspicion. This rancid pile of a game didn't deserve a sequel. Which, by the way, is just as trashy for all the same reasons. Just get armored core 6.
Game is super easy and repetitive, with slow progression. I dropped it early game because the customization was lacking, and the unlocks each mission were barley switching up the gameplay. Don't recommend If you played AC 6.
you will never be armored core
It was a bad, bad, bad idea to play this after having nearly 100%'d armored core 6, and every other AC game besides 5. Huge Shoji Kawamori fan, and that's cool. The music is sometimes pretty good too. But everything else? No thanks. RNG equipment drops, the cringe anime stuff, the nonsensical story and setting. The gameplay is technically OK, but the interface is hard to follow and the colors are too saturated so it's hard to tell what's going on. The weapons feel anemic and the lack of customization compared to AC is kinda painful. I guess they're making up for the fact you can edit your character, but even so. It's too bad really. Refunded.
Armored Core lite but the story is ass. Still, Armored Core.
装甲核心mini
The character creator was cool. I loved the colours particularly. The tutorial was the absolute single worst introductory experience I have ever seen. The controls are generally not great but playable. The second mission was the most asinine story I've ever experienced. I hope for the sake of anyone with patience that this gets better. I have other things to play.
Played most of it when it initially came out on the Switch. I like the visuals and music but the story and overall gameplay loop leave a lot to be desired. You're better off just getting Armored Core. As for online its OK for the most part, just a little tedious. Just farming bosses for parts and PVP is solid. Wish the Outer was more fleshed out gameplay wise but makes sense given you'll be spending most of your time in the mech Hope the sequel knocks it out of the park
