For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

*Actual Summation* In short, the game feels like none of the equipment matters because either everything will work, or there's just a tool that is the most optimal in every situation. Farmings easier but also kinda of pointless. There's exactly one skill that felt useful [Mirage] and one boss [Legion] that felt fun enough to replay. Characters are less interesting than the first game. The mecha game has exactly 3 mechs for 3 minutes each time you activate the ability. Overall the game had a lot of quality of life improvements, but not enough improvements to what might make the series stand out. Either lean into the Power Ranger aesthetic, acknowledge the game's absurdist elements to the story - can't get over Chaldia the 'good' Trinitas experimenting on at least a million people, and letting her garden pull of an 'Operation British'. - or let the game be a Mech game with actual mechs, adopt some higher speed gameplay, and more interesting boss elements. Game's worth maybe 20 to an adult, perhaps it's more entertaining for someone's first video game as a young child. *Reasons for* The general character design is more unique. Last game every character looked to be in a plugsuit/jumpsuit of sorts, which led to less interesting character design. In this game, all the characters have unique outfits. The Enemy armor types and weak points is good improvement to have more variation in where players should focus their attacks, though its the same for each variant of that boss. An easy improvement - not necessarily a knock on the game - would be to vary the bosses weak points so the boss reskins feel more fresh beyond their one or two unique attack variations. The general gameplay loop is more tolerable. To get the items you need, skills you want, and improvements to the skills and modifications the process of obtaining them are a lot easier. Everything is indexed on the map UI if you are interested. In addition the boss fights - by far the most painful thing to 100% the collectables on in the original game - looking at you Zeruchroar - are way easier. The story... honestly is not much better than the original. In fact, it might be worse. But the side missions do flesh out personality traits and lose ends. Though they seem obsessed with giving every villian a sob story and justification. Brother, Chaldia by the logs with her outer experiments kidnapped and tested on at least a million people. That's the absolute minimum. [Hilarious, but besides the point]. Decaling and coloring your mech is fun and cool. I think this is a definite requirement for Mecha games since AC6. Finally, the Heavy Arsenal is awesome. Feels good to use, feels powerful, and all 3 designs are awesome and feel like they walked out of Armored core. *Heres the big thing that breaks the game for me. This is no longer a Mecha game. It's a power ranger like. The Mecha part of the mecha game is available for like 3 minutes when you summon the heavy arsenal. The Heavy Arsenal seems like a balance stop gap for encounters that might be fun with 3 player co-op, but with solo play most encounters are boring. Very low strategy requirements. The bosses DO require some strategy, but the original game gave you a audible indicator for incoming attacks letting you pace better. In this game it's more about distance, endurance, and weak points. However once you have a strategy it works for every boss of that type. Most bosses don't even require a strategy [Hard difficulty mainly just requires you to build for survivability]. The arsenal building was stale and felt like I was boxed into a build - much like the first game. A highlight of the arsenal building was the Atalanta 2. Being able to move at speed without the cost of femto or a gross stick click [more difficult to perform when strafing with that stick] is a godsend. By far the most useful auxiliary for dodging and general travel. Outside of that most of the auxiliaries either have such a low amount of ammo that it doesn't matter in prolonged fights [the only ones that might require changing gear after all] - or don't deal enough damage to justify their use. Thus propellent tanks for more femto or the boosters, maybe the cooling system are good. Satellite shield and the Jagdflugel I haven't tested. The shoulder devotion was useful because once more the healing zones in arenas and the environment can be blown up by allies or enemies, thus when you need one they are likely all expired. In general, the should weapons again can be good, but overall the devotion is the most useful. The various funnel weapons are fun to use for their DPS, but they run out of ammo absurdly quick. The abilities are fun to use, but in general the only useful ones are the passives and the boss genetic material - And of that, Legions Mirage is the most useful, not for DPS, but to give another target to bosses. Laser sword is once again the best melee weapon, as it should be. The only 3 other weapons I found useful were the Triple Crown/Triple star - the Ear Splitter - Sugar rush. The Triple star can deal 1180 damage easily when in range of a bosses weak point. Absolutely absurd, so thats awesome. The Ear Splitter reflects DXM 1, explosive damage is more useful than a peppering in general. The Sugar rush was only because miniguns are fun. The melee weapons DO feel good, the lance especially for the forward thrust. Unfortunately, the laser sword can close the same gap for higher dps. The fists are fun to charge, but the bosses close so much distance that it's hard to pull off optimally. The armor for the most part doesn't matter, while they have great designs - they are NOT mechs, thus any appreciation I have for their form is out of respect to how they might've looked on a larger machine. That aside, the characters are far less interesting than the first game. Greif was borderline hilarious as an edge lord, while the Neun are just cartoonish. Savior and his squad, the brigadier general, even Queen's group is a lot more memorable than Ash and the Reclaimers. The character design is also not super appealing. Gearworm and Legion's character design and personalities might be the most interesting. Highlight of the game's roster is especially Legion. It was fun to feel what the first game's OC might've been like to fight. In addition to his nonsensical attitude, and the cannon that he's in constant pain playing it cool is great. Additionally forming his own squad of 5 to avenge the Neun was an awesome gank fight - pay attention and use jammers or the Atalanta you'll be fine. By far the only enjoyable boss fight. As always, you can replay the story and some cutscenes, though the first game in my opinion did it better - since almost all [I think all] can be viewed again. In addition you could chose your partners for each mission. In this game you can only do so for replaying boss fights.

If there's one thing I wanted Daemon X Machina to have is identity and swapping Armored Core-like gameplay for a mashup of Monster Hunter, Warframe and Metal Gear Rising of all things was the right move for this game. Granted, some aspects are rough around the edges and the story is forgettable but it's enjoyable and worth giving it a try, even if you're not a fan of mecha stuff or because you expected more mecha if you played the previous title.
It's really dull and boring to play. Movement is clunky and feels very stiff, camera angle is weird and camera controls don't feel good when using a controller. The biggest problem is that everytime I boot it up I quickly get bored and sleepy playing it. Wanted to like it but it's really boring.
The game is fun, I wish more of my friends played it, the price point is kinda high for what it has though so it is a buy on sale.
TLDR: 7/10+ if you look past the ♥♥♥♥ writing and want something like Armored Core and Monster Hunter together. 6/10 if not. Titanic Scion is more or less the running variant of the original Daemon X Machina, for better or worse. I personally like it, despite the flaws, here's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ small essay on it. I dislike many gameplay aspects and balancing decisions, and the boss designs in this game are flat out infuriating to fight sometimes with game design that feels horribly one-sided in terms of difficulty, with multiple bosses capable of juggling you until your health is gone. The lock-on is sticky at best and an active detriment at worst, forcing your camera to center whatever you're targeting. And trying to lock on to a specific weakpoint (and more importantly HIT IT) is its own challenge. The first game did lock on MUCH better, having your lock-on area be a small frame in your field of view and you still had to orient your frame over the enemy or weakpoint, and whatever was closest to the center was the main target. Ranged weapons benefited from this still, but melee weapons were still able to be precise. Titanic Scion saw what wasn't broken and smashed it with a hammer. This game also holds over some problems with how weapons are balanced in the game. Many of them feel underwhelming and too weak to stand on their own or even to have a role in a good build. Sniper rifles are a good example. They're meant to abuse weakpoints (see above for first problem), but their ammo economy is too bad to break into the weakpoints, meaning you need to bring a secondary. But hold on, you can't. Snipers are also some of the most aggressive weapons in terms of memory consumption, limiting your options even more. The writing is bad. VERY bad. Nerve is relevant for two parts, the very beginning and end, and he immediately evaporates in both. The Trinitas feel shallow, with not enough background on who they are being a big sore spot for me. Speaking of which, that applies to EVERYONE. ESPECIALLY YOU. The main cast of good guys are sloppily written at best and immediately forgettable at worst. My top 3 characters are Forge, Iris, and Zanki. And they're about as good as it gets. Cutscenes are dopey. Some select few are actually animated, but they still got scuffed animations between characters. The good guys are hard to like. VERY hard to like. Ash is grating to listen to and I find myself constantly asking whose side is he on. Angel's storyline is vague and bad. And Raven is okay at best but his moments of lore are just DROPPED on you at the very end. The big bads you'll be fighting, the Neun, are a cast of nine mercenary elites. A death squad. They even dress all evil and most of their Arsenals have a helmet that looks like a skull. The devs attempt to make your sympathize with them to attempt to push through a message about war being hell and only the politicians beat them. The most natural way to attain this is to gain their perspective, see the human and not the soldier. The developers do not do this. At all. ALL of them have a sad backstory (except Legion and Void. The former just leaves and the latter is insane) or some noble motivation, but NONE of them are explored before even their first or second encounter. ALL of them only ever have their sad story or motivation revealed WHEN YOU MURDER THEM. However, looking past all of that, the game has some good elements. Scale in this game is done well. The classic Colossal Immortals, Gunfort, Rebellion, Dreadnought, Zeruchroar, and THE ORB look great in the Unreal Engine. I hope one day that the bosses port Bolt, Nightmare, The Dominator, Aviator, and my main man Train. It'd also just be great if they at least ported over the voices from the original. But a man can dream. I usually don't suggest a game to someone based off of modding potential, but Titanic Scion has some potential, being on the Unreal Engine. If the devs support the (VERY SMALL) modding scene, I could see some growth. The OST, like the last game, is phenomenal. Though, unlike the last game, the final boss doesn't have a tonally different song compared to the other bosses. Which makes me sad. Inherit The Stars was amazing to hear, and I wanted something along those lines for the final boss.
