Wait for the huge sale (more than 20%). If you for some reason dont want to, do not expect this entry to be a better mecha game than Armored Core 6 (considering the price difference).

The game is good.... but not worth $70. only buy on sale.

After around 30 hours i've add enough. Very average game compare to the original. This is yet another one of those games that has what feels like a slapped on open world that is very boring, liveless and empty. Add high HP and low enemy variety as well as a bunch of mostly boring side quests and you'll got yourself an exercise in tedium that goes on for way too long. The game would have being so much better if it had been mission base like the original.

This game is very mid. The gameplay is barely okay. Enemies are super repetitive with very little variety., The level design is terrible because they made it open world but put so little effort into how it looks and feels to traverse. It's absolutely bare and ugly. There are caves you can enter but it's basically one corridor with a few rooms. Story is also garbage. I didn't expect much from it, but it's absolutely cringe. The dialogue is terrible. Basically your typical anime structure with all the cliches. Obviously, most aren't playing for the story, but I feel it's worth noting. Armored Core had a way better story/dialogue/characters and it didn't have much! Maybe get this game for $20. It's not worth more than that. It blows my mind how people actually love this game and think it's better than Armored Core. There's absolutely no way that's true. The only way you'd think that is if you didn't play armored core because it was too hard for you.

Not an anime fan, don't hate JRPG's (have some games), or the shows, but I do not have a favorite list. Also, never heard of this IP neither. That being said, you want a mech and design it as you see fit? This is it. No denying Anthem blew it, for me FromSoft game did not scratch an itch, and TitanFall3 is clearly not happening. Seeing this, I waited for a sale, and here it is. Seems most of the hate is fans of the IP. Liking the big mechs tearing down skyscrapers in mission based progression from the previous game. Me? Idc. I like fast and agile, I also like to have freedom to move around and discover. There is light, mid and heavy mechs in the game and it does what you expect (damage VS agility) but you're not a towering brute. Music is actually pretty dang good. Hitting hard rock and you can FLLLLYYYYY boy. And best part you can increase that speed too. From running, flying, ascend speed, all of it. Enough weapons and armor to make your head spin (not joking, 999 weapons and armor pieces). Transmog right from the jump, so no worries once you collect a piece and unlock it, you can look as you see fit. Altering color and decals. Story is there, and I do think they SHOULD care enough to give a conclusion. Seems they leave it kind of open ended from some of the review's I've read, but I'm nowhere close to finding out. So far though, it's fine. Combat is fun! Trying multiple weapons types and configurations is a blast. I keep thinking I found the one and then I find another and I have to try it based off the fun from the last. There is content here if you want to find it. Open world ish. Keep in mind, this is Japanese game. So yes, dungeons look the same. There is a base of command which sets it all in motion and the world is where to find, execute and discover. There are different biomes for a different look as you progress. To boot, they actually made a card game and to be fair, after getting the hang of it, I gotta admit, I'm a fan. Very strategic but also unpredictable. Wildly fun mix. So looks, music, combat, card game and a decent story to move you along, I say give it a shot. Not a TitanFall2, but I think more fun than Armor Core/Anthem. And to be even more fair, there is a demo which I put 5hrs into before even thinking of buying the game. So even though I am a slower gamer, I would say the majority of you will get 3hrs out of it minimum, then the 2hr refund period if you buy. More than enough time to get your feet wet. If on sale, I say go for it. And your save will transfer from the demo to the game. So no loss either. Hope you enjoy!

編集、加筆、再投稿です。 オススメしますが、安くなってから購入が良いと思います。（前作未プレイ、ストーリー、DLC深淵の脅威までクリア） ストーリーのみ、やりこみしないという方はあまり魅力は感じないかも？ 以下、個人的な感想です。 もうちょっとストーリーの内容を濃くした方が良かったと思う。 全体的に話が薄く感じるし、もっと詳細な話がないといまいち感情移入しづらい。 熟練度システムはいろんな武器があるのも含めて◎、でもMAX２１まで上げる必要は無し。 アーマーは同じものでもスペック違いがあり、後半でこれあれば最強！一択！というのがないのも◎ でも物理防御やら基本防御、ダッシュ速度やら細かくて厳選の難易度が高い。 武器を１つマスターしたら他武器へ１％熟練度UP、射撃武器なら弾薬ドロップUP、近接なら攻撃力UPとかの恩恵があればもっと良かった気も。 DLC　深淵の脅威 少しだけ話が加わった程度なのであっさりと終わる。追加されたボスがいるので武器、アーマー、アタッチメントの厳選したかったらやり込みするくらい。 もう少し内容が濃ければよかったなと思うくらいもったいなさを感じつつも、安く購入するのならそれなりに遊べるゲームではあると思います。
