Crysis Remastered es de esos juegos que, más que juzgarse solo como un remaster, hay que verlo como la vuelta de un clásico que en su momento fue casi un “benchmark jugable”. Y después de jugarlo en esta versión, puedo decir que la sensación sigue siendo muy similar: un shooter con ideas muy adelantadas a su tiempo, pero con algunas costuras que hoy se notan bastante. Lo primero que sigue impresionando es su concepto. El Nanosuit sigue siendo el verdadero protagonista del juego. Poder alternar entre sigilo, armadura, velocidad y potencia le da al combate una libertad que muchos shooters modernos aún no han explotado igual. En los mejores momentos, el juego te permite abordar una situación de muchas formas distintas, y eso hace que cada enfrentamiento tenga cierto componente táctico muy interesante. Visualmente, el remaster tiene luces y sombras. Hay mejoras claras en iluminación, texturas y distancia de dibujado, y en algunos momentos el juego se ve realmente bien, sobre todo en entornos naturales. Pero también es cierto que hay escenarios donde se nota que el diseño original ya tiene sus años, y el salto no siempre es tan consistente como uno esperaría de un remaster actual. En cuanto al rendimiento, mi experiencia ha sido irregular. El juego no siempre se siente del todo estable, con bajadas de FPS puntuales y momentos donde la fluidez no es la ideal, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que se trata de una versión modernizada. No llega a romper la experiencia, pero sí es algo que se nota durante la partida. La jugabilidad, por otro lado, sigue siendo muy sólida en su base. El combate contra humanos es donde el juego brilla más, con tiroteos en entornos abiertos que te permiten experimentar bastante. Sin embargo, cuando entran en juego ciertos enemigos más “especiales” o situaciones más guionizadas, el ritmo pierde algo de frescura. También hay que decir que el diseño de misiones se siente bastante clásico. No hay grandes innovaciones a nivel estructural, y en algunos momentos puede volverse algo repetitivo si esperas algo más moderno en el ritmo o en la variedad de objetivos. Aun así, Crysis Remastered tiene algo que sigue funcionando muy bien: esa sensación de sandbox dentro de cada combate. No siempre te dice exactamente cómo jugar, y eso permite pequeños momentos emergentes donde tú decides cómo resolver la situación. En conjunto, es un remaster que cumple, pero no redefine la experiencia original. Sirve perfectamente para redescubrir el juego o jugarlo por primera vez con mejoras visuales, pero también deja claro que es un título de otra época, con lo bueno y lo menos pulido que eso implica. Si te gustan los shooters tácticos con libertad de aproximación y no te importa encontrarte con algunos altibajos técnicos y de ritmo, sigue siendo una experiencia interesante incluso hoy en día. Valoración personal: 7,8/10.
