About
Crossroads Inn is a real-time management sim set in the immersive fantasy world of Delcrys. Players must build, manage, and expand their tavern, catering to the needs of adventurers from far and wide.
With improved pathfinding, AI, engine performance, and UI, this edition brings two unique game modes, offering different experiences for both casual and hardcore gamers.
In Sandbox mode gamers will focus solely on managing their business and economy – to build their very own tavern, hire and oversee staff, manage the supply chains and create new dish recipes. In Campaign mode, micromanagement is just a prelude to a rich story as the kingdom is in turmoil and a shift of power is expected. Your Inn will soon attract the attention of important political and military figures, who are desperately trying to hold on to the reins of power. Gamers will become part of a large-scale drama full of political intrigues, vivid characters, treacherous NPC’s and dangerous quests inspired by RPG games – You will even have a damsel in distress to save!
1. Real-time management sim with RPG elements, combining immersive gameplay and storytelling.
2. Two distinct game modes: Campaign mode with a non-linear story featuring 12 different endings, and Sandbox mode for endless gameplay.
3. Rich, detailed lore featuring feuding factions, powerful organizations, and political intrigue in a low fantasy setting
4. Culinary adventure co-designed with experts from Nerds' Kitchen, offering unique recipes and a diverse menu to attract various social groups.
5. Complex tavern economy simulation with multiple customer groups, special guests, unique employees, and various resources and facilities tied together through a network of dependencies.
6. Original soundtrack composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz (The Witcher 3) and performed with traditional folk instruments from different cultures and eras.
7. Expanded in-game culinary recipes and a fully developed nutritional system to influence relationships with guests and factions.
8. Comprehensive in-game editor allowing for customization and creation of campaigns, scenarios, and adventures using all game assets.

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Crossroads Inn - fajny i dosyć zbugowany symulator karczmy.

Crossroads Inn Anniversary Edition is an expansive medieval management simulation that successfully blends tavern building, economic strategy, and fantasy storytelling into a single experience. Developed and published by Klabater, the game places players in the kingdom of Delcrys, where they inherit a modest roadside inn with the goal of transforming it into one of the realm's most respected establishments. Rather than limiting itself to traditional business simulation, the game incorporates role-playing elements, branching narratives, political intrigue, and world-building that give the experience far more personality than the average management title. The Anniversary Edition serves as the definitive version by packaging years of improvements and additional content into a much more polished release. The heart of the gameplay revolves around designing, expanding, and efficiently operating every aspect of your inn. Players have complete control over constructing guest rooms, kitchens, dining halls, breweries, workshops, storage facilities, and decorative spaces that directly influence customer satisfaction and business performance. Every decision matters, from arranging furniture to optimizing employee movement throughout the building. Careful planning becomes essential because an attractive inn alone cannot guarantee success if daily operations become inefficient or resources are poorly managed. Running the establishment involves far more than simply earning gold. Hiring capable employees, preparing food and beverages, maintaining inventory, repairing equipment, and satisfying a wide variety of guests all contribute to the overall management challenge. Staff members possess different skills and specialties, encouraging thoughtful recruitment instead of filling positions at random. Players must also balance finances while continuously investing in improvements that increase reputation and attract wealthier clientele. As the business grows, managing multiple systems simultaneously becomes increasingly rewarding for players who enjoy detailed simulation mechanics. One of the game's most distinctive strengths is its living fantasy world. Guests arrive from different races, professions, and social classes, each bringing unique expectations and behaviors. Merchants seek reliable accommodations, adventurers stop for rest before dangerous journeys, while nobles demand luxury and exceptional service. These varied visitors make the inn feel dynamic, with every new customer contributing to the atmosphere of a bustling medieval crossroads. The surrounding kingdom is equally engaging, with lore, political tensions, and regional conflicts creating a believable backdrop that gives purpose to the player's growing influence. The campaign mode offers much more than a simple progression system. Story-driven quests introduce memorable characters, difficult moral choices, political alliances, and unexpected conflicts that shape the future of the kingdom. Decisions made throughout the adventure can influence relationships and alter the direction of the narrative, making the management gameplay feel closely connected to the larger world. Players who prefer unrestricted creativity can instead enjoy Sandbox Mode, which removes most story limitations and focuses entirely on designing, expanding, and optimizing the ultimate medieval inn at their own pace. The Anniversary Edition significantly enhances the original release by including numerous improvements, quality-of-life updates, and previously released content. Additional gameplay systems such as expanded customization, farming elements, wagons, pets, underground features, bathrooms, decorative objects, and new management options greatly enrich the experience. These additions provide greater variety throughout long play sessions while encouraging experimentation with different layouts and operational strategies. The result is a version that feels more complete and better balanced than the game's original launch. Visually, Crossroads Inn captures the charm of a lively fantasy tavern with detailed interiors, medieval architecture, colorful decorations, and busy crowds of travelers. Watching customers dine, relax, socialize, and interact with the environment helps bring the inn to life. While the graphics may not rival the latest simulation titles in terms of technical fidelity, the artistic direction successfully creates an inviting atmosphere that complements the medieval setting. The soundtrack further reinforces this ambiance with relaxing orchestral and folk-inspired music that fits both peaceful management moments and dramatic story events. Despite its many strengths, the game remains highly ambitious, and that ambition occasionally creates challenges. New players may initially struggle with the numerous interconnected systems, as the learning curve can be steep despite the available tutorials. Managing employees, finances, construction, recipes, and customer satisfaction simultaneously requires patience and careful planning. Although the Anniversary Edition addresses many technical issues present at launch through improved stability, better pathfinding, and interface refinements, occasional awkward behaviors and minor usability frustrations still appear during extended sessions. Ultimately, Crossroads Inn Anniversary Edition delivers a rich and rewarding blend of business management, role-playing, and fantasy storytelling that stands apart from more conventional simulation games. Its extensive customization, engaging narrative, strategic depth, and immersive world provide dozens of hours of meaningful gameplay for players willing to invest time in mastering its mechanics. While the complexity may discourage those looking for a casual management experience, fans of deep simulation games and medieval fantasy will find a satisfying and content-rich adventure that continues to reward experimentation and long-term planning.
