About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

my hype for this game got crushed by how annoying the inventory management is, how movement is ridiculously restrictive, and how boring the walking is. Recommended to who ever loves being miserable.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A bit of an underrated game imo. Slower, more methodical combat with punchy weapons that rewards positioning, accuracy and good use of the environement, nothing you haven't seen before, just executed really well. Very rewarding exploration and side areas too. Despite the constant comparisons gameplay's not really "like Deadspace" since there's no limb severing but the game's on par in terms of story and atmosphere maybe even better in some respects. Very much worth it for old school survival horror fans. Just make sure to always upgrade the inventory size first, it's pretty much non-negotiable. And don't forget to visit the cats. As for performance, I had it pretty smooth with an RTX 3060. Put textures and shadows on medium, there's almost no visible difference between med and high, make use of DLSS, maybe limit FPS in some way, you should be fine.
Atmosphere of Dead Space, gameplay and inventory management of Resident Evil. The protag is cool, gameplay is slow but it helps build suspense. Others seem to be complaining about all that but it seems exactly as advertised.
Outstanding. The best game like Dead Space, since Dead Space, without being like Dead Space.
A very interesting game. Visually marvelous. Sound design and music is splendid. Some very cheap jump scares in the later part. Level design is visually stunning but not very good gameplay wise. Runs like old carriage on rocky roads due to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UE5, stuttering all the time. And it hurts your eyes very much, the UE5's deliberately-movie-like lights and shadows just make human eyes tired very quickly. Also there are many assets in the game the stupid UE5 just can't render correctly whatever settings you adjust. In about 30 minutes in the game, horror fans may recognize many design elements inspired by or directly referenced to other games or movies: The inventory, movement and shooting system from old Resident Evil. The clunky hand-to-hand combat from old Silent Hill 1 and 2. The body horror from The Thing the 1982 movie and the 2002 game. The shinning yellow headcrabs from Half-Life. Some body horror design directly referenced from Oats Studios Zygote (which is also inspired by The Thing). The consciousness space from The Evil Within. Some monster design obviously inspired by Slither and Dead Space. Some other things feels extremely just like old S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. And there are a lot of cats in this game. I love cats. =========== There is a hiking incident in the Tatra mountains talked in the game. And it's kind of interesting there are so many hiking incidents in the Tatra mountains in the real world.
