About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

A very cool mind-bending horror. Love the art-style & tone of the game based in Poland Not a heart-stopping horror game, but it did have me jump from my seat from time to time! If you love Dead Space, you'd love this game

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10/10 masterpiece
This game fuks. I believe it's close to perfectly balanced. It's giving the Dead Space experience and I plan to jump into NG+ right away.
8/10. Totalmente recomendable
the initial experience after 4 hours
The game starts off feeling like Dead space in PRL times in Krakow, weird abominations a kin to necromorphs crawl around, we have to scavenge for ammunition and healing items with minimal hardware to survive while being dead set on our target, which feels a bit like we're part of some cult, and as we proceed through the game, it slowly shows similarities to 12 Monkeys. And i really like how those 3 elements merge in here. Review in Progress, to be updated as i go.
the bad
Movement is clonky, there is no jumping, nor dodge, you squeeze through places and "hop" over small gaps via interactions, and in similar unplesant fashion as in deadspace, enemies cannot go through those gaps/objects. Aiming is jank. You are forced to play in 3rd person view all the time, while the reticle can collide with our character or walls and bullets will go into walls instead of your target. Punches/kicks - Similar as in Dead Space, last resolve as all enemies have pretty powerful melee attacks, but in this game you cannot even properly swing your arms and legs at enemies to do any kind of flurry attacks to deal any decent damage. Aim gets more wobbly after we "Run" and attempt to aim without coming to complete halt for few seconds. Performance - Game is not greatly optimized, gamma settings seem silly, 2.0 as a default gamma? No option to enable Nvidia Reflex without FrameGen/upscaling? Couldn't get fluent experience with XeSS on quality, DLSS was for some reason causing some weird blur in some places. Excessive volumetric fog, insufficient lumen from flashlight. Lack of Polish Audio, there is only English and Chineese, which is wild since its a Polish studio's game. I hope they amend this in the future.
The Good
Story picks up as we acquire the first essence. There is no dodge but if you time a punch/kick right, you can avoid being hit by enemies. You can pet cats in the wild, which are a sign of safe space, they provide you with rewards, and the more of them you find in the wild, the more of them you will have in your base.
