About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

A more sci-fiy , darker resident evil. Warning: remember to save cause this game crashes a lot. Perhaps the develop should work on fixing the months old bugs instead of pushing out paid DLC?
Bloober Team has put out some quality games of late and this is no exception. This is what Callisto Protocol should've been. The atmosphere and resource management are some of the best in this genre.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't write big long reviews or create [a] thru [e] tiers for each aspect of a game - I simply only buy
gud games.
And this one is gud. Survival horror in the sci-fi genre, with big guns and cool armor both of which can be upgraded. There's a time manipulation aspect here too. plus with the gory bodies and Soviet era architecture it feels a lot like Half-Life:Alyx in design - if Alyx wore a time suit and stomped as her melee attack! The demo rocks but ends too quickly and the rest is a blast top notch AAA gaming.
9/10
bello, peccato non molto lungo.
Great atmosphere, challenging combat, endings kinda mid for your first walkthrough. 7/10
absolutely killed it. loved this game. Russian dead space with a little resident evil. graphics are amazing no issues at all.
Pretty good survival horror game with a few issues that prevent it from being great. Good stuff: - Excellent art direction, together with some beautiful visuals and graphics. - Excellent sound design and music. Everything sounds right, footsteps, ambiance, the guns sound amazing, the monsters and all their related sounds are disgusting (and that's a good thing). Voice acting is also pretty good. - Plays perfectly on KB+M and the controls are fully customizable which is a plus. - Interesting story, based on a known trope but pretty original in implementation. The story I think its what carries the game to the end, as I'll get to that on the bad stuff section. Bad stuff: - Overstays its welcome. It has VERY noticeable padding in some sections that could have been a lot shorter. The length of the game hurts it instead of elevating it, even more so when to get the true ending it is REQUIRED to play the game twice (not doing that ♥♥♥♥). The story is the only thing that kept me from dropping the game, as it kept being interesting to the end. - Bad performance. My PC is not a NASA PC but it's very very good, still it struggled to get stable 90 FPS which is my preferred framerate. Lots of sections struggle to reach 45 FPS for no real reason. - Some weird gameplay decisions, like having the Torch dispenser in safe-rooms. This makes it so you can just use this to your advantage a lot, which is boring (you can just ignore this, but It annoyed me). Subjective stuff: - I did not like the Essence system personally. The upgrades are good but marginal in what they can do. It would have been better to just be able to have them all to get all the story bits and not have them have "perks". I found this to be another annoying way to pad the game, forcing you to make more playthroughs. - Melee sucks. There's a perk that improves this through the essence system but to me it's a bit of a bummer, melee could have been good from the start (I don't like the perk system). Being a survival game they could have made melee be more integral to the game and not perk dependent. - Dismembering enemies does nothing really, they could have expanded on this mechanic a bit more. No idea why people compare this game to Dead Space at all. Enemies are just bullet sponges, it's best to always shoot them in the head, to maximize damage, which makes combat get pretty stale after a while. - I know survival games have that "play it more than one time" thing for multiple endings, but I've always disliked this. I don't re-play games often mostly because I don't have enough time to do so, and because I don't usually find games that I like so much that re-playing them does not become boring. I really think that forcing the "true" ending to be locked behind having to do a second full playthrough is a misstep. Overall, to me this is a strong 7/10. I'd wait for a discount to get it. It is NOT like Dead Space, no idea where people get that from, maybe the vibe? The combat is NOTHING like Dead Space. The RE comparison is alright though, I'd say it's comparable to the RE2 Remake. Hope they make a sequel, the universe and ideas are really cool and they can maybe flesh out the mechanics more on a second try.
I LOVE THIS GAME!!!
I woke up last night, and the travelers they were there, standing asking me why I haven't logged in. So I logged in to finish this game. They told me to buy the dlc when it comes out too.
