About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

good
I don't know why everyone compares this game to Dead Space when it's closer to RE4 and games in that vein. It lacks the depth to be compared to Dead Space, no limb removals and no manipulating the environment as a weapon. The weapons, even up to the end, feel like they don't do enough damage and the game boldly gives you an SMG when resources are so thin to begin with. The game boldly gives you 2 melees, one directly inspired by Dead Space. Both melee options are abysmal, even with a thing that buffs them half way through the game. There's not even a point to stomping since enemies cannot be "finished" for resources. The story was interesting up until the end where it basically just sort of peters out and spits in your face. Which is a shame because I really liked the characters. The whole game is a slog. It feels slow and like it's trying its best to pad for time. There's not much in the realm of puzzles and as the game goes on you can actually tell when the Silent Hill 2 team got involved because suddenly there's a bunch of small puzzles to unlock extras and so on. Enemies are hard to differentiate, even moreso if you're colorblind and further amplified by their obsession with making you fight in sandstorms for a chapter. No amount of lazy color filter could help differentiate the spiked enemies from the armored enemies, and even more importantly the parts of the armored enemies that could be shot. Even with these issues, I didn't feel challenged at all. I had 3 deaths total during the entire game and that was to the previously mentioned armored enemies due to my inability to quickly identify their weakpoints. Otherwise every miniboss, boss, and final boss felt like a joke. Even with the game's intense desire to make your aim as unstable as possible. The whole ordeal is tedious and irritating with small bouts of fun character interactions and world building. If you're looking for something slow and kinda unique, then go right ahead and pick this game up on sale. Otherwise, look towards the classics it draws its inspirations from. Dead Space and most other RE games are more worth your time if you haven't played them.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cronos New Dawn это шикарный Survival - Horror сделанный в сеттинге легендарной трилогии Dead Space!
I tried. I really tried. No I mean it - I really tried. I cannot for the love of me find enjoyment in this. It's slow - and not the good kind of slow. Not the - every move has weight - more like you are weighed down for no reason. While the presentation is actually quite alright the combat is what kills it for me - it simply is not fun and I tried to get any fun out of it multiple times but to no avail. And no - it's not because it's hard because it's not. It's because it's not fun and that's just it. Kind onf like KCD2 - amazing game but combat is ♥♥♥♥. And here - there's just not enough other stuff that I can get around that.
I finished the game on PS and loved it. The story is really intriguing, the atmosphere is 10/10, it’s challenging, and although the movement feels kinda sluggish in the beginning, u get used to it, 8.5/10 for me
This game has to be completed not only one but two times in a row for the better story understanding. Story - 10/10 LVL design - 9/10 Combat - 10/10 Graphics - 10/10 Sound design - 10/10
Jogo surpreendentemente bom.
