Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 76.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 313.57/day in the week after.
Of the 13 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 1 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Crimson Desert was a game that i truly thought was overpromising. Upon playing the game i realized that wasn't the case whatsoever. Pros: Graphics - This game is unbelivably beautiful. This is one of the first video games where I launched it and thought to myself "Wow, this is an actual next gen experience". Once you unlock the ability to go into the sky and view the world around you, it is seriously mind blowing. The view distance, the hills, everything you can visit. Everything you can touch. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what a game in this regard. Combat - the combat is the game is extremely well done. It is varied with parries and dodges and different weapon builds that allow you to have different special effects that happen during combat scenarios. Overall the game is solid in this regard. Customization - The game features great customization and EVERYTHING is unlockable in-game. The amount of customization you can do with the abysal gears is great, transforming your basic weapons into super weapons. The gear customization and the dye system is VAST. Theres so much to do here in that regard you can stay busy for hours just customizing your gear to perfection. World Building - The world is vast with multiple different locations, each with their own ecosystems, politics, weather etc. Its insane, i cant keep saying that enough. Mount System - They took a often forgotten mechanic and made it fun, with unlockable mounts and mount gear that you can customize. Loved it. Quest System - Theres so much to do in this game. The quest system is very well done, with multiple factions you can help in any given area. Some are well hidden also, which brings me to... Secrets To Find - WOW theres so much to find in this game. Theres a insane amount of secrets to be discovered and they are all VERY well hidden. Hidden doorways, hidden pathways, walls that are fake, puzzles to unlock secret entrances. Its all here and your curiosity will be satiated very well in a game like this. Crafting / Cooking system - The crafting systems in this game are very well done. Its vast and varied with plenty to unlock and make. Theres even a housing system lol this game is crazy. Cons: Story - The story is extremely bland at the start and it takes quite a while to ramp up. The area i am up to i am enjoying the story personally but admittingly it does take a lot to get there sadly. Music - The music is this game, while it hits well in some areas, for the most part is non existant. I wish there was a little more involved here. Weird Controls - The game released with weird controls for the controller and the lack of remapping. This has since been upgraded, but overall is still not the greatest. It definitely has gotten better though. Overall Crimson Desert will blow your mind in the greatest of ways and it really is staggering how much is actually here to play and explore. If you do play this game, prepare to get lost. Seriously. Your life is gone. Thanks for reading.
Crimson Desert Review 10/10 An absolutely phenomenal game, and one of the best games I've ever played. This game gave me everything I've ever wanted in gaming. Every feature I dreamed of having in a single game is here. In so many ways, Crimson Desert is one of the greatest games ever made. Thank you, Pearl Abyss. You should be proud of what you've created. See you in the next review. Pros Combat The combat is simply the best and most enjoyable I've ever experienced in any video game. This isn't the kind of game where you spam one button to win. Every fight requires you to think, adapt, and use strategy. Most bosses are designed around skill and tactics rather than mindless button mashing. Movement The movement system is one of the game's strongest features. You can perform around five different jumps, climb almost any surface, glide through the air, swing from trees to launch yourself, and so much more. Traversing the world feels incredibly natural and satisfying. Graphics & World The visuals are breathtaking, even on high settings. Nearly everything you see can be explored. See a mountain? You can climb all the way to the top. The world constantly rewards curiosity. Gameplay Variety Crimson Desert combines an incredible amount of content into one game. Cooking, farming, horse taming, home decoration, and many other systems that you'd normally find in completely different genres all fit together surprisingly well. Kingdom Management The game also includes strategy mechanics. You can manage your camp, expand it, send companions to gather resources, construct buildings, and eventually build an entire city. You can even dispatch your companions to assist allied forces. Exploration Exploring the world was genuinely one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in gaming. Traveling far away from home, discovering strange places, encountering unique creatures, beautiful landscapes, hidden paths, and breathtaking locations made every journey memorable. Words honestly can't do this world justice. It feels alive, magical, and unlike anything I've seen before. In my opinion, this is the best exploration system I've ever experienced. Puzzles The puzzles were excellent. They broke up the action at just the right moments and were genuinely fun to solve. They weren't overly complicated, but they were creative and well designed. There are many more positives, but listing every single one would make this review far too long. Cons Story Presentation The story itself is good, but the way it's presented isn't. It often feels like you're playing the second game in a series. Important events happen, yet you don't feel emotionally invested because you don't really know the characters or what happened before. It's difficult to become attached to the story. Main Character Kliff is a great protagonist, but he barely speaks throughout the game. Because of that, the voice performance feels underused, and it's hard to connect with him on a deeper level. Either give him more dialogue or make him a fully silent protagonist. Weapons & Armor There isn't much difference between weapons or armor. Once they're upgraded to the same level, they all feel almost identical. The only major distinction comes from the Abyss Gears, which add unique effects and abilities. Weapon Progression Choosing a weapon mainly comes down to appearance. Finding a legendary weapon doesn't feel nearly as exciting as it should because the statistical differences are minimal. Before anyone says, "How can you give it a 10/10 when it has flaws?" No game is perfect. The positives are simply so overwhelming that they easily outweigh the negatives. For me, Crimson Desert is a masterpiece. (This review has been translated by ChatGBT from arabic)

It's not terrible. and clearly a lot of work has gone into the graphics etc. It's just boring. The story is boring, the cut scenes are boring, there is no personality to this game. There is an option to double speed the cutscenes and I use it because they are dull and instantly forgettable anyway. everything you do in this is the same as what you've just done. Try to go off path? there is nothing there. I'll probably try to play a bit more, but I'm 9 hours into a game that is meant to be epic and I'm bored out of my mind. Also what is with the weird alien head helmet nonsense? meh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PwvsYIlLpQ The massive continent of Pywel offers an absolute playground for anyone who loves open exploration and constantly discovering new secrets. The sheer variety in gameplay, shifting seamlessly from brutal, wrestling-infused melee combat to riding mounts, gliding, gathering, and tackling wild side activities, makes the world feel endlessly addictive to get lost in. The story is actually surprisingly engaging and way better than expected, doing a solid job of grounding Kliff's journey and keeping you invested in the fate of the Greymanes. On the technical side, the visuals look gorgeous across the vast landscapes, and the optimization holds up well. It is a fantastic, content-packed adventure that rewards players who just want to explore every corner of the map. Also, the developers are doing a great job at updating the game with a bunch of QoL and they are actively listening to the playerbase.
Crimson Desert makes a strong first impression with its stunning visuals, detailed environments and satisfying combat. Exploring the world can be rewarding and the action delivers some exciting moments throughout the adventure. Unfortunately the game struggles to maintain that momentum. The story aims to be an epic tale but ends up being surprisingly forgettable, with characters and plot points that rarely leave a lasting impression. The pacing doesn't help either, the game feels much longer than it needs to be with repetitive missions and stretched out sections that make the experience drag. Another major issue is how many gameplay mechanics are packed into the game. It constantly introduces new systems and activities but many feel unnecessary or underdeveloped. Rather than creating a richer experience, the constant mix of mechanics makes the game feel unfocused as if it never fully commits to what it wants to be. Performance is also inconsistent at times, with occasional bugs and frame drops that can break immersion. While the combat remains entertaining, some encounters prioritize spectacle over depth and the controls can occasionally feel clunky. Ultimately Crimson Desert is an ambitious game with moments of genuine brilliance but its excessive length, forgettable story, uneven pacing and overloaded gameplay prevent it from reaching its full potential. Fans of open world action RPGs may still find plenty to enjoy but it's hard not to feel that a more focused experience would have been a much stronger one.
This update is really well done, yet I feel there’s absolutely no respect for veteran players. The main storyline has been polished, and the game even offers its first-ever discount. But when old players log in, they find there’s practically zero new content or improvements for us. All the newly added game features are completely irrelevant to those who have already finished the main quests. It feels like the studio treats early adopters as bug testers. We endured the roughest and most difficult phase of the game, yet all the optimizations only benefit new players. No wonder so many people are willing to turn to pirated versions. Buying the game at launch turned out to be a disastrous experience. If the developer keeps running the game like this, I’d advise everyone reading this to wait until the game is fully updated and then download a pirated copy—only then can you get the best gaming experience.
Crimson Desert feels like a game that was created in a lab. They threw in Zelda, RDR2 and others and in theory it should be perfect but it just feels soulless. It has countless systems but most of them aren't fun in any way. Why do I need to carry sacks in my camp? Why do I need to hit a tent pole with a hammer four times? Why can't I skip cutscenes? Why are there so many scenes where I have to walk next to someone who walks incredibly slow and tells me some boring stuff I don't care about? The boss fights are garbage, the enemies stupid and you can just hammer one button and eat 20 steaks to heal. There is no strategy involved. The skill tree is also so basic and boring. You can clearly tell that this game was supposed to be an mmorpg and they changed course mid-way. The devs completely misunderstood what made the slower approach of RDR2 work. RDR2 is slow but everything matters. Here, because the story is so terrible and there are so many unnecessary things, it just becomes a chore.
