Creature Kitchen

Had me bawling my eyes out by the end of it. Such a beautiful lil game. A heart-warming reminder to go forth in life lead by compassion, care for those around us, and make good memories.

Great gameplay and storyline its fun and cozy just wish it was a little bit longer but its deffinitly worth the price and time

This game is amazing, the vibe overall is amazing, i love the aesthetic in the art, the creatures are fun, the cooking mechanics are amazing. its especially good if you play it in the middle of the night.

This game is a hidden gem. I really had no idea what to expect going into this, I thought it was specifically a cooking sim with timers and rushing and other stressful mechanics. However, it wasn't. This plays as more of a caretaker exploration game, it's dark but not spooky, and much of the interactions are silly. Those elements combined I think really make this experience what it is. I mostly loved how chill it all was, how it doesn't rush you through the content, there's no dying, no combat, nothing to buy, and no grind. It's just you, a mysterious cabin, strange animals, strange music, a bunch of ingredients, and a cursed oven. As I mentioned before, it's dark and very atmospheric but it's not meant to be scary, just eerie, odd, strange. The ambience in and around the cabin is very well done, from the music, the thunder of the storms rolling through, to the insect sounds, and the creaking of the cabin. Inside the cabin you get a mix of strange rooms and appliances that aren't all they appear to be, I won't spoil it here though. The... creatures, are a mix of familiar and not quite right, but they all need something that only you can provide, prepare, cook. Part of me wishes the game lasted a little longer, having more critters, but it seemed fine at about 4 hours of gameplay finding and completing all objectives. This developer really nailed the design and I hope they make a sequel to this. Note: Check inside the game folder, there's a Secret directory with a ton of developer photos in it that was really neat to look through.
