It’s About Time - the critically-acclaimed Crash Bandicoot™ 4: It's About Time is now on Steam!

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Sep 9 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Late to the party, here in 2026, and only six hours in but damn this thing is really well done. The old formula expanded just in the right way... MOSTLY. Now, for context, I did play and complete all the PS1 games, plus Wrath of Cortex and the N.Sane Trilogy. And I consider this excessively difficult. Way too early, way too much. I already know I won't be bothered to complete it and that feels bad. And this is the one real con, because basically everything is great. But it feels very discouraging. I like the controls, I think they are very good, I just need to adjust to the slide attack transferring very little forward momentum to the jump, but levels seem to accomodate for it. I like unlocking skins. The mask powers are a good twist. The visuals are stunning. Levels look beautiful. Not a fan of the... "slide on rails" sections of the levels *cough* because I'm not great at them *cough* but they're ok, just a bit of a pain. I violently despise the red exclamation mark boxes. I loathe time-gated stuff. A crime against bandicootkind. May this be the first and last time we see them. And yeah levels are indeed long... too much. Crash levels shouldn't be this long. Original trilogy length and box amount was just fine. But that wouldn't be a too much of a problem if some sections of them weren't this diabolical, and... the boxes. All the talk I've heard about them being so hidden away hard to find... damn it was no exaggeration! It's very unlikely to finish a new level and find them all at first try even being thorough about it; it kinda discourages effort imo - just rush to the end the first time, and maybe come back later to try if you still feel like it. I can only anticipate relics to be even more harrowing... although I doubt I'll even try at this point. I mean, just get a relic ok, but all three types are counted towards completion! No bruh this is way too demanding. And for now I'm gonna quit it, at the level after meeting Dingodile. I'm very sorry to say this because the pros are there and I feel like it's a work of love with respect for the series but this is just not fun. I feel irritated and disappointed. I'm picturing Sunset Vista to calm down, feels like a walk in the park in comparison.

12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Peak
No mid-level save-states. The original Crash games didn't have them either, but this game gets even harder than the original Crash 1 and while it's forgiving in that it lets you retry as often as you want without setting you back unnecessarily far, when every level feels like a commitment, it's hard to want to play more than 1-2 levels at a time. Despite listing the same minimum hardware as the N. Sane Trilogy, they do not run identically. This game is more demanding to run compared to its predecessor. The GTX 660 is a modest minimum-spec, it just still seems misleading to not disclose what the framerate looks like between the 2 games, as a difference between 30-60 fps is huge to a lot of people. Regardless, the game looks beautiful, such a tight and linear game doesn't need to give you so much to look at at any given time and yet the developers still took care to make the levels diverse, detailed and colorful. I'm thankful you get to take your time mid-level to really take it all in. As I write this, I'm still not finished with the game, but I believe I don't have much left with the main story. (I found the last mask.) It's a lot of money for such a short story. This game I feel hopped onto the bandwagon of creating incentives > content when it came down to extending the amount of time you could pass with it. You unlock stuff to do as you play the game, but when they don't tie back to the main story, it just feels like it's there for the enthusiasts and nobody else. I love the Crash series and I'm still not excited about hitting all of the hundreds of boxes in each level to earn the last gem that gets me a different costume for Coco or Crash; it's just not something I care about, and when you look at the Steam achievements, very few players have gone out of there way as well. A higher relative percentage have earned all of the achievements in Elden Ring than they have collected all of the Gems in Crash 4. If we get another Crash game, I hope we get a bigger base-content overall rather than a bunch of small, extra-content. I would've rather had more levels and a more in-depth story than a bunch of costumes you unlock by earning a bunch of gems you earn by hitting a bunch of boxes that you hit by playing a bunch of levels that you have already beaten once before. This review may come across as mostly negative; I loved this game, I got an even bigger discount because I had the N. Sane Trilogy gifted to me years ago and it being in my library compounded with a recent sale on Crash 4, I managed to snag it for $16. While that's not a steal, it's what I think is a more fair price for the base content itself
O joguinho é muito loco - bem divertido. Vale a pena jogar e não é tão simples como os Crashs antigos. É bem mais difícil.
as soon as i was 45 seconds into the first level i realized wow this game is amazing. it is definitely made with the old school games in mind, it isnt a mind over mutant bs sequel. that being said it definitely does not pull any punches, the third level gets pretty damn challenging right off the bat. i love the challenge/skin system that rewards you by getting all of the boxes and completing with 3 deaths or less. amazed i waited this long to play it

This game is absolute God Tier! It belongs in the same breath as the likes of Mario Odyssey as one of the great modern 3d platformers. The graphics are beautiful the platforming in tight and flows beautifully, Crash has never felt so good to control. The level design is incredible! I have never played a platformer were every level is a total banger. So intricate and clever with so many new challenges and clever ways to traverse each area. Only negative is the inverted mode. This is not bad but it is definatley not needed as the game is a perfect length without it and it feels like padding. Be warned though, this game is tough, tougher than any other Crash game but if you love Crash or just 3d platformers in general you need to play this game. It is Crash at his absolute best!

Excelente juego que continua la trilogía original. Mas mapas, más poderes, nuevos enemigos, más jugabilidad y la calidad de siempre. Vale la pena cada centavo.
