A great modernization of the series akin to what Mimimi Games did to Desperados.
Is that you, officer? The demo to this game is a smaller level that doesn't appear in the real version of the game. I think that's a nice touch. Perhaps not that much of a challenge if you complete the whole game before you discover it but shows they really wanted to put some effort into the overall experince. If you try the demo first you don't need to replay anything later on. The actual game looks pretty much like the classic version but offcourse with better graphics graphics. If you remember how to play the old games. This is basically the same with some new features. Some updates are pretty cool. Others wasn't really that necessary. From my experience with this subgenre the creators are good at doing what was done before but don't really know how to take the next step forward. This game does a decent attempt at it. Far better than Commandos III, Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge or Helldorado but perhaps not what the fans really are longing for. Alarm! My biggest complaint about this game is mostly about the main game. Not so much the later DLC-missions where the creators actually improved this with rather good results. The complaint? Most levels in this game are quite big and too often it's rather easy to see how to attack an enemy. This by itself isn't a bad thing but more enemies doesn't always make the challenge more intriguing. It sometimes feel more like I was doing more brainless killing than actually playing an challenging game. Sometimes the game is genuinly intriguing but too often you can easily get your enemies without much effort. I don't think that's why people come to this subgenre. Those who do enjoy this want the challenge, or am I wrong? I played on the highest diffculty during the whole game and both DLC's. There was challenges, for sure, but perhaps too few of them. I rather have forty well placed enemies than one hundred fifty enemies that's placed in all kinds of ways. If this is the first time playing this style of game you might feel very differently but I think several of the other more current games was better in this aspect. Shadow Tactics or Desperados III for example. Finally, some action. This game looks like the classic games but especially the main game have a weak storyline. It might not matter much to players in this type of game but for me it gets a bit more interesting than just random dates and random places. Another thing is the lack of attitude and comedy in the dialogue as well as weak grapical scenes between the levels. It just feels a bit rushed or afraid to have a personality. Both DLC's did improve to some extent on all of this so the creators are aware I believe. If they continue doing yet another game of this style, I think it will be an even better one. Why spend energy on doing better DLC's otherwise? Easier to just do the exact same thing over and over to earn easy money! I've got friends on the other side. Negative review so far? Maybe but the game has much going for it. It certainly have small touches all over that improve on the old games. I don't want to spoil anything but play enough of it and you'll see positive details. Perhaps the best part is the use of different kind of enviroments. There are all kinds. Nighttime, on boats, on islands, with bridges, in the dessert, in the jungle and what have you. It's not just the same thing over and over. Which is a big plus. The levels take enough time that you want something a bit different whenever you finish one. They made a good job of just that. Consider it done, boss. I would give this game a grade of 7,5 / 10. Some levels and most of the DLC's deserve a better grade but too much of the main game isn't on par with the best of it. I wouldn't say this is one of the key games in the subgenre but it's a pretty decent one. It certainly worth a try and while the DLC's are rather short. They if anything are worth your time. One more thing: If they release more DLC's? I'll buy it. If they make another similar game? I'll probably buy that too.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game
This game for me is very nostalgic and I love the evolution on this new game, if you looking for some tatic and stealth missions this is for you
This game is the perfect blend of improvements that still keeps the key aspects of the original Commandos. I am very impressed with the gameplay and also the details of the missions and the visual graphics. This game does not force any particular style of play and can be completed more from a stealth approach or using more direct weapons. The game is logically engaging and has a variety of methods for completing the mission. Overall an incredible game and very happy.
Awesome tactical game play. Takes me back to the 90s ;)
Buhh!
Oyun mükemmel yapılmış.
