Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

prostě čistá dokonalost, není co vyčíst, jen doufám že i ostatní starší díly se dočkaj brzo stejnýho remasteru pokud teda už nejsou a já to nevím XD protože by bylo dost škoda kdyby ne, nová grafika je nová grafika. Tyhle starý díly bych si bez remasteru asi nezahrál i když gameplay je fakt skvost.
I never played this until now. As a kid/teen, I played Starcraft and Warcraft 1-3. At first, this game seemed highly inferior. The way building and training works is simply primitive and absurd in comparison, as is harvesting resources. You spend resources building something, you wait 5 seconds, and THEN, after its built, you decide where to put it. That's very illogical compared with ordering a worker to build something in a specific location. Also, you can only place it directly adjacent to a building that you already have. "You built a refinery... where do you want to place it?" Um... okay, but seriously, wtf is that? There's only one resource in this game. To harvest it, you don't train workers. You build a refinery, which comes with one single worker. If that worker is killed, you cannot simply train another worker. If you want another worker, you must build an entire extra refinery which will come with a worker. Why would it make sense, though? LOL. If you spot more resources across the map, you can't just build a refinery next to them b/c, once again, you can only build things adjacent to your already existing buildings. So if you want a refinery next to those resources, you need to build a hilarious line of buildings up to the spot where you want to build the refinery. The menu for building/training is always there, regardless of whether or not you clicked on the construction site or barracks beforehand. It's a very strange UI for someone only familiar with the WC/SC style. All of these things make it feel so amateurish in comparison to SC that it's easy to write off and give up on. The story isn't comparable to SC either, but videogame stories rarely are. Overall, though? I think I might just prefer this to SC. It's with me all the time, and it's mostly due to its infuriating difficulty (and killer soundtrack). I've never been so angry with an RTS game in my entire life. It really forced me to brainstorm ways in which to defeat it even while I'm away from it. I haven't played in about 2 days now, and I'm really itching. Some of these missions, on the hardest difficulty, do not even seem fair or remotely possible. The AI seems to have an infinite economy, regardless of how many workers they have. I've learned not to destroy some of their buildings b/c they'll just rebuild them again instantly and get another free worker in the process. If I kill all their workers, they send everything they have at me and wipe me out. If I build up a huge army, they'll send a perfectly composed army to counter it. It seems that I must constantly strike the perfect balance between expanding my economy, building more military units, and extending my territory. You can really only extend X spaces with Y size military. If you extend beyond that, they'll send an army to crush you. You can really only have X refineries with Y size military. If you build another refinery when you should have trained more units, they're sending an army to wipe you out before you outproduce them. If you build armies when you should have built a refinery, they outproduce you and send that army to crush you. It's insane. I'm sure there's more forgiving room for error for someone who's better at micromanaging individual units than I am, but I'm not that quick with my mouse. I've been stuck on a single mission for hours. I restarted it over 10 times. It's really, incredibly hard, and I never had ANY problem with WC 1-3 or SC as a kid. This really is an incomparable experience. Expect to be annihilated if you play on hard. I actually heard that the game wasn't meant to be played on hard. It wasn't even an option in the original Command and Conquer. I heard that they just gave unfair advantages to the AI that can't even be overcome on some missions. I doubt that. I'm certain that there are players who can do it, I'm just not one of them yet. Oh, and the soundtrack is among the best videogame STs I've heard in my entire life. It's been living in my head every day. It really kicks ass.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ich spiele das spiel jetzt schon seit über 28 jahre und es macht immer noch mega bock und die community ist total mega online games gibt es immer noch mit spieler aus der ganzen welt daumen hoch !!!!!!
This is a good and faithful remaster of the original. The AI feels a little different, but not in a bad way. The videos are trash but it's not really their fault, they were working without masters on video clips with scanlines. You can tell it's AI upscaling and it's not a great job, I almost would have preferred the original resolution. The graphical upgrade is nice, and really represents well what it looked like on an old CRT monitor back in the day. Switching to classic graphics is kind of gimmicky and I see no real reason to play that way unless you actually *have* a CRT at a lower resolution. Excellent game, definitely worth getting it when it's on sale. I'm not sure full price for a 30 year old game with updated graphics is really fair.
love this game
Nostalgia hits hard with this one.
Still a fun game all these years late, but man it is hard to go back to the old days and mechanics sometimes. The pathfinding is just plain rough lol and the infantry goes squish so easy lol.
Great game, good memories, improved graphics, what else can you wish for? I can only say: play this game and enjoy the ride.
Ein ausgezeichnetes Strategiespiel!
A great classic remastered for modern devices. I still love it!
