About

“Stand to attention soldiers! We are looking a harsh new reality right down the barrel - the world is a post apocalyptic nightmare, all that’s left of humanity is pockets of survivors and organised military bases like ourselves. We prepared for this situation, the necessary equipment and resources were stockpiled long ago, knowing it was only a matter of 'when' and not 'if'. But we have a plan, an ambitious plan to wipe this zombie scourge from the face of the planet.
The enemy are no longer human, they are no longer your parents, siblings or friends, they are an organism of pure evil that seeks only to spread, mutate and destroy - its foul stench must be eliminated at any cost! We are looking for five volunteers to execute this plan - five soldiers to step up for what is almost certainly a suicide mission; which of you have the bravery and skills to get out there and meet this challenge face to ugly rotting face?"
- General Johnson, CURE HQ.

NO LO PONGAN A TODO VOLUMEN QUE DA MIEDO
for some reason Day/Dawn missions put a filter on your screen that makes the whole game white and red in the most ugly way possible. also escape timers are too strict even on casual difficulty.

nice zombie game. Nothing special, but its free.
Gameplay and graphics are fitting for a Windows 98.
"We got Left 4 Dead at home" simply put. It's free and under 12 GB. In this day and age, you're likely to finish downloading it and trying it out yourself before you finish reading this review. Gameplay loop is simple - spawn into a procedurally generated level, shoot things, maybe collect some scrap, plant a bomb, get out. The escape can get a bit hectic and chaotic, and that's good. This game has an Offline mode! And the bots are actually competent, using their own gadgets and shooting zeds without restraint; too! Shooting feels okay, horde events are there to make you shoot zombies in a zombie shooter game. Ragdolls and gore keep it entertaining enough. Seeing a horde burn up into skeletons for the first time was surprising. "Specials" variety is low, with only armored zombies, dogs and the Disciple (Witch) offering you more challenge than just the hordes of smelly zeds. Basic class customisation with appearances and 2 additional guns per class, alongside basic gun modification. It's more than L4D has, and even though my mind keeps yapping "perks pl0x", I'll let it slide. Don't expect any long-term progression aside from unlocking weapons and modifications. 5 "classes" which all have their own primary weapons and perks. Pointman has auto-shotguns and throws a lure-bomb. Support has SMGs and a supply crate also working as a barricade. Assault has rifles and grenades. Technician pump-shotguns and a sentry. Sniper's...a sniper. The graphics are alright and workable with, only complaints are the lightning being a bit too much; and some hair on the zombies just sticking out like a sore thumb even in the dark. The music is alright. Yeah it has music, it fits. No seriously, it's free and like 12 GB. If you're not convinced yourself, go try it out. The mandatory training is short.
