Gorgeous pixel animations, fantastic platforming and puzzling, excellent combat and, so far, a rich story. This is a game not to be missed!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its a fine Metroidvania. Bit of story sprinkled in. Not much as far as mechanics or new abilities its mostly just ... like its normal? They said 'thanks for playing' at the end. That's pretty nice. Thanks for making it, developers, I had a nice time. Probably like a solid 7/10? Its good. I liked the Quake 1 reference at the end.
- Мам, купи Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. - У нас є Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia вдома. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia вдома:
Good
this is one of the best metroidvanias i ever played! i totally recommend this game!
It's good with beautiful pixel art, I would only buy this on sale though. It doesn't match up to other games like Hollow Knight(HK beats it 10 fold tbh), which is close in price. But still a good game if you're into retro pixel games.
Personally, I'm torn through giving this a thumbs down but more of a thumbs in the middle. Simply because of the fact the game does a mechantic near the alllll the way to the end of game that really ruins it. At it's core, the brand new run new map item shuffle is a neat concept which does up the replay value. The game is certainly better than titles like Mummy Demastered (which I played). Chasm has an actual story, you're a nameless protagnist solider off to help people and their local mine. Eventually, you discover something utterly evil is brewing deep down below. It's up to you to stop them. The game has a lot of good lore and character interaction/story. It builds on the concept of games like Soul Blazer or Dark Cloud - as you rescue more people, the better the town becomes and you have access to more its features. Music is decent, enemy variety is very well done, and the graphics give that perfect retro feel for a metroidvania. Even the map is done well - it has a mark feature but I never did need to use it, as the game marks special locations including items you have not yet procured. What hurts this game, even if you have buffs or a certain weapon, is the low gold and item drop rate. The gold is 5 gold here 5 gold there with the occasion 25 gold. And the rare, 50-100 gold pick ups (which are a one time thing.) I said to myself: "I wonder if this is going to be a problem later on...". Items are not cheap for the most part at scoring 100 or more gold. And at 5 gold every few minutes, do the math it takes awhile to rack up any money. At the finale of the game, you are presented with 1 check point/save and that's it. Check points also do not restore your MP, but for the most part that isn't a problem until the finale, as you can quickly return to town to recover your MP. Otherwise, items and spamming hitting those castlevania "candles" to recover your MP. Not as bad as Mummy Demastered where that AND health was an issue. Here at the finale, you're presented with a lot of brutal enemies and then the final boss. The game enforces you to stock up heavily and then item potion spam your way to victory as it's that brutal. Combine with the low drops rate, you're spending nearly 2-3 hours of farming just to get what you need. With the help of Google, I was able to pin point certain equipment (which also took many times before it dropped) to help with the drop rates. This WAS/IS a solid game, and maybe I had a bad "seed", but the way the finale was laid out, I think the finale is likely the same level format. The game basically pulls "This was FUN until this part." which really ruined the game. Aside that, this was an overall solid metroidvania. Just be warned if you play this, be ready to farm up stuff near the end. 5/10
