Ich hatte eigentlich keine Erwartungen an Chained Echoes, da ich nicht der riesige JRPG Fan bin, doch das Spiel hat mich in jedem Element komplett abgeholt. Humorvolle Dialoge, unerwartete Wendungen in der Story (kein 08/15 Schwarz-Weiß wer der Böse ist), ein wirklich cooles Abwechslungsreiches Kampfsystem und eine angenehme Schwierigkeit. Warum viele das Spiel als zu schwer empfinden kann ich nicht so wirklich nachvollziehen, ich bin wirklich kein Profi in solchen Dingen und finde das Spiel so angenehm entspannt. Der Fortschritt durch neue Waffen und Fähigkeiten ist spürbar und gut gebalanced. Das DLC habe ich noch nicht begonnen, das werde ich jetzt demnächst starten wenn ich das Hauptspiel fertig habe, aber selbst für Vollpreis ist das Spiel ein absolutes Must-Play für jeden Rollenspielfan, reduziert ist es ein Pflichtkauf hoch 10-
This is a mix of classic JRPG style between Final Fantasy and Suikoden. It has has the retro classic pixel art style, but with a modern touch, that is more fast and with better shadows. Also, the game pacing is fast, which also helps a lot. The game also has it own character. You do not level up by grinding mobs. Level up comes by defeating bosses and gaining specific skills. This is very good, since you do not need to spend hours to farm money or XP and at the same time, you will never be Overpowered for the last phase of the game. Story-wise it is a good game with nice narative. It has many twists that i will not spoil, but bottom line you will enjoy spending time in this game. The only thing that is missing from this game, is the music. There are times that music is missing completely and I though that my soundbar was off. Some boss battles would be great with some better music in the background. TLTR: If you are looking for a classic turn based RPG, you can spend 10 EUR for this game. it was worth it.
Zuerst einmal, dieses Spiel, was über 50h Spielzeit bietet, stammt von einem einzigen Entwickler... krass. Die Story ist cool und hat mich das ein oder andere Mal zu tränen gerührt. Die Welt, Quests und Gegner sind abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Das Kampfsystem bringt schöne eigene Twists mit und die Charakter glänzen durch individuelle Fähigkeiten. Leider war ich kein großer Fan von den Himmelsrüstungen (Spielmechanik), da sie für mich genau die vorher gelobte Individualität für mich eingrenzen. Auch fand ich es merkwürdig, dass viele Side-Quests erst spät im Spiel auftauchen, dann aber ohne Hinweis auf diese und dazu noch an Orten, wo ich von mir aus nicht mehr hingegangen wäre. Also war ich für mich am Ende gezwungen, viel im Internet nachzugucken.
