Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Just like the classic RPGs, you’ll set out on a journey to collect four ancient relics.
This time, you can collect them in any order you choose.
Explore the four provinces of the Evaria Kingdom and collect the Starlight Relics in any order in this non-linear RPG.
Embark on a journey to collect the four Starlight Relics scattered across the four provinces in order to restore the fallen Eternity Tree. In the capital city, appropriately named Kingdom Capital (who came up with that name?!), there are four bridges - one for each side of the city - leading to a different province. Which province you start with is entirely up to you!
Collect helpful key items from each of the four provinces. The order in which you tackle the provinces will affect how you experience each province.
Break down brittle rocks with the Rock Hammer.
Cross rivers with the Raft.
Travel quickly with the Magic Carpet.
Warp to any town you’ve visited before with the Flute.
An ocarina that can summon… something...
All outdoor areas are seamlessly connected with no loading screens. Enjoy a super-smooth experience while exploring the kingdom.
After collecting all four Starlight Relics, you’ll be able to traverse the skies in a Mode 7-inspired 3D environment. There are several areas only accessible through this method!
Enjoy a simple turn-based battle system with some modern conveniences. Choose from commands such as Attack, Magic, Defend, Items, and Skills in this fast-paced classic battle system.
Every character and every magic spell has an element. There are five elements total: Fire, Ice, Earth, Metal, and Plant.
You can change a character’s element by using one of the elemental gems. When casting magic that matches the user’s element, its power increases.
There are 15 skills to unlock. Skills fall into two categories:
1) Active skills – These are special moves that can be used in battle. Example: The Frenzy skill allows your character to attack an enemy multiple times in one turn.
2) Passive skills – These affect your character’s stats. Example: The Power Boost skill will increase the damage of your attacks by 50%, but you will lose 1/16 of your HP every turn.
The Summon skill allows you to call upon any creature you’ve previously defeated and recorded in your Bestiary. Depending on the creature you summon, it may attack enemies, heal allies, or grant other useful effects. You can even summon bosses!
Unrest rises in the Evaria Kingdom.
A separatist movement has arisen in Sky Province, seeking to break free from the reign of King Lennox.
For over a century, the teaching of magic has been banned in Sky Province's schools. The reasons for the ban are irrelevant today. Despite that, the King refuses to change the law.
"This is outrageous!" "Why does this law still exist?"
The separatists have already taken control of two towns in Sky Province.
Public opinion in the kingdom is divided.
Many people have come to sympathize with the separatists, while others, appalled by their violent methods, side with King Lennox.
Does the separatists’ cause justify their methods?
Or perhaps, is King Lennox right?
Either way, the people of Sky Province have had enough!
In this turbulent era, three warriors find themselves caught in the middle of the conflict…

I played this game the day it came out and I am glad I did. I'm always looking for a good solid turn based RPG to play and his game scratches all the itches. The game is a bit short and won't take too long to complete everything, the overall experience was very enjoyable. PROS: - Very good music, no issues with any of it - Enemy designs are cool - Non-linear - Can play the game in any order you want - Good challenge for quite awhile (Until you find out how to become OP) - Classic turn based combat for us old peeps CONS: - Needed another battle skill (either 2 skills or 1 active/1 passive) - This took away from a lot of possible strategy - Very short game - Could use a little more beef, but nothing too short to take away from the game I do recommend this game, it was really enjoyable romp.
Does the dialogue really need so many memes in it?

Video Review: https://youtu.be/G64Vo0zJu5M Starlight Legacy is one of those rare instances where I feel like a modern indie game manages to capture the magic of the classics it's drawing it's inspiration from (Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest). It's a turn based RPG with some great art, wonderful music, fun combat and an enjoyable story. This is a shorter game by JRPG standards (took me 9-10 hours) but that just means that it didn't overstay it's welcome and it was enjoyable from start to finish. If you're interested in seeing some game play and hearing my full thoughts please check out my included video review!
Do you like classic Final Fantasy/Pokémon games and pixel goodness? How about some kick ass music like Lufia or Final Fantasy Mystic Quest? Give Starlight Legacy a try and support this awesome solo Japanese indie dev. This is a real JRPG gem like Ara Fell and deserve more love and recognition.
Good little RPG like the style that is missing in this day. Bring back more of these I say. No tutorial but everything I have encountered seemed to be intuitive. So far there seems to be a decent storyline. I'd give two thumbs up but steam allows only one!
This is what the FF games should be like 👍🏼
Not too deep like common JRPG but it offers nostalgic elements and quite fun journey;
A fun and interesting mix between Pokémon and Final Fantasy!
This is a fun little game. Interesting combat and good exploration. There are areas where it could use some work, like the script and the UI, but overall, it's a fun, bite-sized JRPG.
Starlight Legacy – A Timeless JRPG Adventure Starlight Legacy is a masterfully crafted turn-based RPG that blends nostalgic 16-bit aesthetics with modern mechanics, offering a deeply engaging experience for both classic JRPG fans and newcomers. Developed with inspiration from genre-defining titles, it delivers a heartfelt journey filled with adventure, mystery, and strategic battles. Gameplay & Mechanics The game follows Ignus, Frida, and Teryl—three warriors tasked with retrieving relics to restore the Eternity Tree. Unlike traditional RPGs with a fixed progression, Starlight Legacy embraces non-linear exploration, allowing players to forge their own path. As more relics are collected, the world dynamically adjusts in difficulty, ensuring a balanced and evolving challenge. Combat is accessible yet deep, offering intuitive turn-based battles with customizable control schemes. Players can strategically use items like rafts and magic carpets to unlock new areas, making backtracking rewarding rather than tedious. Story & World-Building The narrative is straightforward yet rich, with each province designed to reflect its own culture, history, and secrets. While the main quest is clear-cut, deeper lore and character interactions add layers of immersion. NPCs provide meaningful dialogue, and hidden treasures reward exploration. Visuals & Soundtrack The pixel art style is vibrant, bringing life to diverse environments with stunning detail. Each location feels unique, enhanced by a dynamic soundtrack that perfectly captures the mood—whether it’s serene exploration or high-stakes battles. Final Verdict Starlight Legacy successfully modernizes the classic JRPG formula while maintaining the nostalgic charm of its inspirations. Its engaging world, well-designed mechanics, and rewarding exploration make it a must-play for fans of the genre. Rating: 4.5/5 – A standout RPG that blends nostalgia with innovation.
