I wish I played this sooner lol The game's great, it's a bit hard sometimes but it's letting you play the way you want, so even if you skip or do something different on purpose the game will progress without any problems. It can make things harder / easier but damn the game was so much fun, i had most trouble at the end though and I'm sure everyone that played above easy mode would agree. Its a bit of a metroidvania and bullet hell at times but the world and music and creatures are all fitting so well there. If you have this game collecting dust and forgotten somewhere in depths of your library (or look for some swell game with cool move tech) should give it a proper try! It's filled with secrets and items and even bosses I didn't find on my first play through and I've tried to use items like map etc. relatively often but even with that I didn't find everything xd I love how the game has seasonal art as well, for chrismas and i just found out for halloween as well! oh boy .. more reasons to replay the game and do all sorts of challenges in it n stuff!
Han eliminado el soporte de Linux e incluso la posibilidad de jugarlo a los que ya lo teniamos
Thank you for making Cave Story fully decked!! Now I can finally enjoy overweight Sue in-game
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AN UPDATE IN 2026 WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥
Aside from slightly frustrating jumping physics, some sections with sparse checkpoints and a clunky (although short) water level, Cave Story features great combat, shooting feedback, pixel art, level design and narrative... not to mention secrets and alternate endings! 20 years later, this classic remains a great recommendation. Just a heads-up: unfortunately, by the time of this review, the achievement Kings of Power is bugged. You can't get it.
Nice little game that preempted the rise of indie games. Cave Story still holds up remarkably well — nothing about it shows its age. On the flip side, I don't feel it can really stand apart from modern indie games, which have raised the bar across the board.
esta bien rica la curly nomms pinche p
