About
Collect awesome monsters to use during turn-based battles in this open-world RPG. Combine any two monster forms using Cassette Beasts’ Fusion System to create unique and powerful new ones!
Welcome to New Wirral, a remote island inhabited by strange creatures you’ve only dreamed of, nightmares you hopefully haven’t, and a cast of brave folks who use cassette tapes to transform for battle. To find a way home you’ll need to explore every inch of the island, and record monsters to your trusty cassette tapes to gain their abilities!
Faced with the constant threat of monster attacks, the residents of Harbourtown, New Wirral choose to fight fire with fire. Record a monster to tape, then play it back to take on its form for battle!
Getting close to your companion has benefits–while transformed you can combine your strengths to gain the upper hand in battle! Any two monster forms can be fused to produce unique, fully-animated new fusion forms.
Certain monster abilities can be used in human form. You’ll need these to help you get around, solve puzzles, and locate dungeons. Glide, fly, swim, climb, dash, or turn magnetic! Take on the Gauntlet – a never-ending battle mode where you’ll face fearsome enemies for precious material and glory!

Never fight alone! Form bonds, spend time together, and help your selected partner complete personal goals to become a better team. The strength of your relationship determines how well you’re able to fuse!
Take advantage of elemental chemistry to apply extra buffs or debuffs alongside your attack, or even alter your opponent’s elemental type!
Team up with a friend in local multiplayer to explore, transform, and fight together!
Party up with Online Multiplayer to trade monster tapes, challenge your friends to 1v1 battles, and team up to take on powerful Rogue Fusion beasts for great rewards!

What you expect, truly. Charming game, with amazing monsters, stupid plotlines and teen-like dialogues. Pure enjoyment
Picco, non apprezzo molto i design dei vari personaggi, ed alcuni beasts non mi piacciono per nulla, ma è comunque un gioco meraviglioso

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easily the best creature collector i've played in a long time! Love the combat, music, art, characters, and everything this game has to show
Really fun monster collecting game with a great sound track!
Jeu plutôt bien mais il a commencé à crash après le second archangel. Dialogue beuger et fermeture du jeu
还不错!可以一玩,主线通关后解锁自定义模式
Scratches the Pokemon itch more than any other game I've played so far. The mechanics feel like a natural improvement onto the typing formula, adding multiple new types that have a variety of affects ranging from defence (de)buffs to full on changing your opponents typing temporarily. Additionally, the double battles and the fact that you can fuse with you partner AND carry over stay elements from beast to beast can allow for some pretty broken combos. And the game still allows you to just level up and hit everything hard if that's more your style (it's mine for sure). There are also "bootlegs" which are Beasts that have a different typing than their usual so the team possibilities are literally endless. The art direction feels inspired. I love all the little details on the Cassette to indicate level and exp of your Beasts. The main storyline is interesting to play through and I absolutely loved the boss designs for each big battle. There seems to be a growing modding community from what I can see in the workshops and there are a few game play changing mods I'm excited to try out in a fresh playthrough when I feel done w my current save file. There are also good QOL mods especially for making it easier to recognize a bootleg in the overowrld. Lastly, the soundtrack goes HARD. Haven't muted it once to listen to an audiobook or anything else. Which is should with all the theaming around music XD. Strongly reccomend this game
Came expecting a Pokémon-like game, but left with one of my favorite monster-collecting RPGs. The fusion mechanic is brilliant, the music is incredible, and exploration constantly rewards your curiosity. 100% was worth every minute. Highly recommended! 🎵📼
