CARRION is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origins, stalking and consuming those that imprisoned you.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 31.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is one of those times where I wish Steam had a “neutral” review option, because I don’t think this is a bad game at all. I can see why someone would really enjoy it. The pixel art is great, the core gameplay loop can feel very satisfying, and the overall concept is incredibly solid. But I can’t recommend it based on the fact that most of the time it’s really boring and kind of a slog to get through. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive, the maze-like design of the stages is frustrating to traverse (and even more so to backtrack) and you just do slight variations of the same things in every room. In games like this you keep the experience fresh by introducing new and varied gameplay elements throughout the playthrough, but most new mechanics (other than the mind-control one, which did admittedly freshen up the gameplay a lot and opened up many new possibilities) were either some variation of “you can now break this block/you can now activate this lever” or so inconsequential that I forgot they were even in the game (like covering yourself in spikes). And the decision to have each mechanic be tied to a specific size made it incredibly annoying to have to keep returning to biomass pools just to make yourself smaller, use the mechanic, then go back and retrieve the biomass immediately. Another personal gripe I have is with how the monster controls; in the beginning it’s incredibly fluid and responsive, but once you get it to its largest size it’s an absolute chore just to move around. And while you could argue that’s intentional and makes sense, both from a logical and a gameplay perspective (you’re sacrificing speed and accuracy for more health and better skills) it can be actually difficult to do anything because the monster gets so large that the player’s input keeps swapping between either side as you move the cursor so you struggle to even switch directions. I also fell off elevators multiple times at the largest size, to the point where I just gave up on using them altogether. The labyrinthian level design is probably the worst offender, though. I’m usually a completionist but the moment I realized that I’d need to backtrack to multiple previous areas without a map to get the remaining containment units I knew there was no way I was 100% this. If repetitiveness isn’t something that particularly bothers you and you’re still interested then by all means pick this one up, but only on a very good sale.
its fun, with the super easy puzzles, you fly through the challenges with ease and makes you feel like a powerful monster.
Bom jogo. mecânicas legais e bem divertidas É bem dinâmico e rapido. Vale a pena jogar.
