Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 25.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My Coumpter is running on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hopes and Dreams playing this, I love it. Real Review: I think Im just engrossed of Controling and Manning Troops. Its like Hearts of Iron IV. It's complex, diffcuilt but it worth the amount of time dealing with a Mission, If you are patient and Like Stratergy. This is for you, if you are inpatient. Well. Still Do it. Its fun. Also i make stories about each soliders, i love getting attached to them. P.S. please god give me a computer than can run on medium grahpics.
I've made the poor decision, mostly due to my own technical limitations throughout the years, of purchasing pretty much every Men of War from the first of its title up to Assault Squad 2. This, however, is undoubtedly the culmination of the series and sure as hell isn't whatever Men of War 2 is, and from my understanding, it's made by a former mod development team sanctioned by Digitalmindsoft. I would expect these people to know what the community would at least generally want. It still can be a bit of a costly game given the DLC pricing, particularly when off sale, but it is not as egregious as locking AI skirmish behind a DLC ala Assault Squad 2's Airborne DLC. Solid product. Gets a recommendation from me.

I bought this because I loved the Men of War Assault Squad games back in the day. This was beyond disappointing. The positive reviews have to be bots. The friendly Ai that you control are so stupid its not believable. They have some kind of randomized free will where they just decide to run to a random point on the map at any given moment. Not even a whole squad just a single person running off like a toddler chasing a squirrel. Then they have no sense of prioritizing targets making micro managing extreme. Tanks will pull up to another tank and then turn and shoot at infantry next to it. Not sure whats going on with this game but its a mess.
Overrated
A great successor to the grand classic Men of War: Assault Squad 2, with sales going from 75-90% sometimes this game is even more worth it due to the beauty of the workshop and it's DLCs. The greatest ever future to be added was spanning out units in cover.
To begin with, I was never a fan of strategy games. It changed about 2 years ago, when I played Total War series. I've been experimanting with strategy games since then. But I've always had issue with one theme. That is World War 2. I tried CoH, I guess it never clicked for me. I was slowly believing that I will never find a perfect WW2 strategy game. And that when I got to play GoH Starting off, it felt strange to play with small units. Instead of traditional for TW series big units, now you have units of 9 on average. But not only that. Game allows you to seperate them into smaller units and mix the infantry as you like. You wish to set up team's MG so the rest can push? Go on. Want to set your squad mates one by one? Suit yourself. I felt nice. I wasn't stuck with the way games like to randomly set your infantry behind a cover. If I didn't like something, I could easly change it. Not only that, the game introduces a great system of taking control over a unit. You want to peek with a tank? You can do it yourself instead of relying on randomness of AI. On top of that you have many different things that you can do in the game. You can play campaign missions, where you are put into prepared maps with certain objectives. If you like to play alone and feel like you're the one deciding how to approach the development of your small army, there's Dynymic Conquest, a gamemode where you choose a faction, develop units you want, and choose battles you want to fight. You want to try how it'd feel to rush tank development of british troops? Or just a challenge of winning a war with only stationary AT weapons? You can do that in this gamemode. No tonly that, you can play it with another player. At the start of the game you can choose which units you want to give them to control, and if something happens, you can exchange units during missions. And lastly there's multiplayer section. Try yourself in PvP battles if you'd like. I highly recommend GoH to any person that wish to have a higher control over their units in a strategy game.
