The call of the sea is a puzzle game on first person perspective. the puzzles are little obscure and merged into the context of the world and architecture. you have to look at the world with lots of scrutiny to solve the puzzles. and since the world is so beautiful to look at, its a wonderful time spent. solid 7/10 puzzle game. story also keeps you hooked.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed some aspects of this game, but overall I was a bit disappointed. Story-wise, the game feels like a typical Lovecraft novel; it is clearly based on the Dagon stories/mythos. The game is good at making you identify with Norah, the main character, as you go on. However, the plot is somewhat simple, even childish at times, and easily predicted. The core gameplay is a series of puzzles you have to solve, typically alien mechanisms and locked doors. Some of them are quite cool in their design (for example
the organ
). However, they are too easy in most cases. Clues scattered about often give most of the solution directly, leaving very little to be tried/solved by yourself. A good half of them merely require you to walk around and press buttons or action levers in an order that is completely obvious. The puzzles often feel like a loss of time rather than a fun challenge. All in all, the game is like a walking simulation inside one of Lovecraft's novels. If you enjoy this universe, the 4-6 hours the game takes are a worthwhile investment of your time. But the game does not offer much else besides that.
Nice scenery, comprehensive puzzles. Chapter 5 is more contemplative than the rest but Chapter 6 has one of the best puzzles.
Fun game, great story, enjoyed my time spent on the island.
Such a good story and very cool visual scenes throughout the whole game.
