Broken Sword: Director's Cut (2009)

Ich liebe diese alte Grafik immernoch. Auch wenn die Charaktere immer so klingen, als wären sie gerade am telefonieren, hat man sich bei jedem Charakter Mühe gegeben. Es ist lustig, spannend und manchmal auch einfach nur absurd. Allerdings bleibe ich dabei, dass die Beziehung zwischen Nico und George sehr erzwungen wirkt.

Un jeu rempli de petites énigmes, très sympathique à faire ! Une histoire qui tient la route et qui donne envie de connaître la fin. Bref, un jeu court mais réussi !

Fun story but the second half feels a little rushed, at the beginning I thought Nico was going to play a bigger part in this but halfway she seems to take the backseat so we can be George, who is alright but has much less of a personality than Nico does.

Ein Adventuregame mit einer guten Spannungskurve und einer Detektivgeschichte die mit vielen Parisbesuchen gespickt ist und Protagonisten die dem Krimi-Genre eine komische Komponente verpassen.

What can I say? One of the best Point and Click games ever made and the Director's Cut add even more depth to the overall game. I've loved this game since the 90's it still holds up to this day. With the release of Reforged (and upcoming Reforged for Broken Sword 2) it's a game series that keeps on giving and one that I will keep on buying! All hail George and Nico!
