Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Auch spielerisch bringt The Pre-Sequel frischen Wind.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Probably the best Borderlands game. It makes a lot of fun iterations on Borderlands 2. The low gravity mechanic feels great and adds another dimension to combat, turning some encounters into a pseudo boomer-shooter. The classes are good and varied, and the story is interesting and competently told (this is a huge bonus in a Borderlands game). Other Borderlands titles might execute certain things better, but this one has the most well-rounded experience in a dense format.

ive played 1, 2, 3, and this. this is the worst one. the storyline is bland, the combat is fair, but its the dialog and jokes that are just... annoying. it feels so lazy, like it was slapped together overnight. play the others in the franchise first. this one has a ratio of likes about 10-15% higher than it should be.
Look this game is good for like one playthrough but this loot is asinine. Nothing ever drops, nothing EVER drops. They want you to use this stupid "Grinder" mechanic, which works like this; Find three purple guns by some miracle of God out on Elpis, and bring them back to the hub. You will then insert those three guns of the same rarity into the Grinder and hit the confirm button. It will play an annoyingly long animation for something you're supposed to do ten thousand times for like a 3% chance of those 3 items increasing in rarity and becoming a random item of a higher quality. Does this sound fun, BECAUSE ITS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NOT A side effect of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system is that they have DRAMATICALLY lowered the chances of you finding anything above white rarity. So that you use the Grinder. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it. I spent two hours trying to get a Quasar, never saw it once. I have seen two guns ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EVERYWHERE in this game to the point of getting pissed off when I see them; The Machine Ol Painful These two guns are so frequently dropped by every enemy in the game, every boss, its in every vendor, THEYRE EVERYWHERE. I am beginning to question if other guns exist. I kill Felicity I get the Machine and Ol Painful. I kill the Sentinel I get MULTIPLE Ol Painfuls and the Machine. I kill the stupid buzzard boss and he drops THE MACHINE AND OL PAINFUL. Oh hey look its the Stalker boss NOPE ITS THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥ MACHINE AND OOOOOOOOOL PAINFUL. They're not even bad guns but I'm so sick of seeing them. This game is alright but this end game is so needlessly frustrating purely based on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loot table that I would say do a playthrough and then move on. What a shame because the Vault Hunters in this are REALLY good and almost never get a chance to shine because everything that drops is WHITE.
An excellent looter shooter with a huge variety of weapons and builds. Trying different guns and finding better gear is incredibly satisfying, and the amount of content makes the grind feel rewarding rather than pointless. A fantastic game, especially in co-op. 100% Completion Time : 92.7H Completion Difficulty : 3/10 Playthroughs : 1 + character cleanup Missables : None DLC Required : Yes Notable requirements : Complete a large amount of campaign and DLC content, and clean up the various challenges and endgame achievments.
Its really gay, the side kick Springs is prolly a self insert from a trans ♥♥♥♥♥♥, this game is disgusting
Doing a chronological binge re-playthrough of the entire franchise (not tales) This is definitely the worst one, and it's not close. This is the only one I've felt the need to write a review on. Pros: -It's basically built off Borderlands 2, the best one, so it feels similar in many ways. -The one DLC it has is pretty interesting (holodome isn't real just like moxxi's dome isn't real in BL1) -Energy guns are pretty cool -Aimhacks as a cowboy are pretty cool -Seeing Handsome Jack's backstory and abrupt slip into Machiavellism is pretty cool Cons: -It's basically built off Borderlands 2, but 99% of the changes or additions are useless or make the game worse than BL2 -low gravity jumping. I could seriously write a dissertation on how terrible this mechanic is. -The better Oz kits typically require you to be in the air to get the best combat bonuses. Of couse, if I get +50% crit damage in the air, I'm gonna be in the air as much as possible. But so much vertical movement and aiming in a shooter feels really bad. -When you're in the air, it's not uncommon for an enemy, like a boss, to knock you back, off a cliff, into a death plane and just die. -Managing O2 levels feels really bad. It's so rare that your oxygen ever runs out but, when you're on a platforming section, and you mess up a jump a couple of times, you need to regen oxygen and keep trying, which only adds to the frustration. Also there is A LOT of platforming in this game. -Laser weapons feel really overpowered when they work, but they're completely useless against bosses that stay far away because laser weapons have a limited range. If you've built your character around lasers, then run into a boss that's too far away, you're cooked. Better go farm or buy a different kind of gun that can reach the boss. -The dune buggy is an awfully designed vehicle that never should have been shipped with the game. I know they become irrelevant pretty quickly but, for the limited time where they're necessary, I hated them. They can't drive in a straight line without spinning out. This makes the necessary ramp jumps feel dreadful. -Every enemy jumps around like they're on methamphetamine. Thank god I played the cowgirl with aimhacks so I could actually hit heads because I genuinely don't know how you're supposed to hit scavs in jetpacks or flying robots or guardians or anything WHILE you're also perpetually jumping to keep stat bonuses up and cross the platforming levels. And I'm not even bad at FPS. I have 5.5k hours in Rust and 1k+ in CS -The quest line has SO many repeated instances of "I need you to get this thing for me. Okay, you're at the thing. Oh! It's gone! Go to where it actually is. The path is blocked! Take a detour. Oh, the detour is gone! Make a new detour! You got the thing! Psyche! You didn't get the thing!" which goes on for hours. That's literally the entire Claptrap DLC. It feels like a perpetual, cyclical torment of quest-cucking. I'd rate it a 6/10 because, well, it is Borderlands, and that's pretty cool.
0/10!!!!!!!! WHOEVER DESIGNED THE TUNGSTEENA ZARPEDON FIGHT SHOULD BE FIRED!!! WHY IS THERE A BOSS THAT CAN ONE SHOT YOU AND SPAMS THAT ATTACK? WHY, AFTER I AM KILLED BY HER, DO I HAVE TO WAIT 30 SECONDS FOR THE RANDOM LIGHTNING THAT INSTAKILLS YOU TO DISAPPEAR EVERY TIME. THERE IS NO POINT IN MAKING ME JUST SIT THERE AND WAIT. IT'S HONESTLY DISREPECTFUL OF MY TIME. OH, AND NOT TO MENTION, ONE TIME SHE KILLED ME AND I GOT A KILL IN FFYL AT THE SAME TIME. SO I WAS STUCK IN A PERPETUAL STATE OF DYING AND BEING RESSURECTED, WHICH COSTS MONEY. SO ALL MY HARD EARNED CASH WAS GIVEN TO HYPERION BY A GLITCH. ANOTHER FUNNY THING, YOU NEED CASH TO BUY AMMO. GUESS WHAT? PRETTY HARD TO KILL THE ALREADY OVERPOWERED BOSS WITH NO AMMO. SO NOW I'M DEAD BROKE, THROWING MYSELF AT AN OP BOSS OVER AND OVER BECAUSE I AM TOO PRIDEFUL TO TURN BACK AND LEVEL UP AND GET SOME MORE MONEY. ALSO, IF I DO THAT, SHE WILL RETURN TO HER FIRST STAGE AND I DON'T WANNA DO THAT ALL OVER AGAIN.
