14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I really tried. I love a lot of what Borderlands does, but God help me, I absolutely hate this POS game. I am absolutely sick to death of BL writing. I hate the terrible jokes, and the way the game insists upon itself constantly: Accept a quest and be prepared to stand on that spot for another 3 minutes, listening to ♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue. But don't walk away! they will make you manually interact with an object right next to them in a few minutes when they finally finish talking about their vegetable patch or Chad's obsession with toenail clippings or whatever. Then they'll send you halfway across the map to interact with something else, but not before another couple minutes of dialogue! It would be far too simple to make it skippable, or provide a HUD pointer to the mission while they continue speaking. Nope. Stand there, and soak in the legendarily tedious "world building" and wait your bloody turn before you resume play. It is a constant throughout the entire game. I want to shoot stuff, not stand on the spot watching an NPC animate like something from an early 2000s game, spouting "humour" that somehow makes Marvel look like a comedy masterclass. The shooting is fun (very much BL3 but with some extra movement), but it feels so utterly sterile in this open world environment. After a couple of hours you'll know which areas of the map will be the Doom-like arenas where things spawn in before you even enter. It is about as rote as can be. The character classes are again "fine," but the build variety just feels so stilted. There's just no room for creativity here at all. The open world itself is pure Ubi-Slop. Too big for it's own good, the map crammed full of icons and redundant collectibles like an infected petri dish. All the worst elements, with a vehicle too slow to traverse around it efficiently. Gearbox's Randy Pitchford is an insufferable tool whose presence around the marketing for his games actively reduces my enjoyment even further. the game is exorbitantly priced, performs poorly, and is jammed full of boring, predictable content. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but the most ardent BL fans who are willing to tolerate a lot of unnecessary BS.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 316.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 103.4/day in the week after.
Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is somehow the worst one out of the franchise and runs like dog water. I cant recommend
Have played for over 150 hours, tried various characters, had a decent time as Vex, the others were a constant slog. Made it through quite a few boss fights, opened a couple of vaults..... At some point all the characters become overwhelmed by adversaries, stuttering gameplay, broken navigation. You can change to the "easy" mode, or go broke. Normal gameplay seems to be out of my realm.... Xbox controller "Partially Supported", and they mean it. Better with keyboard and mouse for most stuff. Navigation is basically impossible, mostly blind and searching trying to figure out what to do, even for simple tasks. No real story line, brings back a lot of memories from Borderlands 3, a game with a plot, and even some really deep moments. Typhon De Leon, I missed you on this one. Plays alot like doom eternal, not much joy as a follow on to a decent game. 5/10, save your money. amd 3950 16 core, 64gb ram, Nvidia 3080ti, 2560x1440, ran mostly at ~70fps, taichi board, TB msata samsung 960 pro, miserable performance for an old, but solid system, top 10% of gaming computers on 3d mark..... 160hz benq monitor. Good luck.
This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks!
waste of hardware power. Unbelievable to have the audacity to set their recommended settings for a 5090 to have x4 frame gen. Vibe coded POS optimization *kicks black box* OPTIMIZE MY GAME FOR ME AI
This Borderlands is a dead, rotting husk of a borderlands game. The gunplay and skill trees are fun. A VERY SELECT FEW of the characters are worth caring about, and not a single one of them is new to this game. The devs made it so they would irritate you over and over until you buy the dlc if you're playing without it. If you don't own the dlc, about every minute or so that you're in certain safehouses, you hear the same voice line over and over about starting one of the dlc missions. There are legendaries in the drop pool that you're required to own the dlc to use, but they'll drop even if you don't own it. Because of this, I will NEVER buy the dlc. What a scummy practice. btw, this includes golden chest drops! They also absolutely besmirched red chests. There's a never ending storm of red chests in this game, and they're consistently filled with CRAP. UTTER CRAP. whites, greens, blues. always. Red chests used to be special, now they're nothing. I'm going to finish this game because even buying it for $30 was overpriced, so I may as well get my money out of it. That being said, it's utter trash. Fetch quests galore, almost every quest in the game is "run 300m, pick something up, run another 300m, talk to someone, run another 500m, shoot some stuff, run all the way back to where you started". If you want to play Borderlands, play 2. It's the best one. It's funny, the loot is balanced, and the characters are well-written. I figured things would be bad after the car crash that Borderlands 3 was, but this is so much worse than I thought it could be. A horribly made cash grab by gearbox. WHAT. A. SHAME.
Bought this game 50% off , it was nice to play with friend but i would never pay 90$+ for this and i wont replay it again
Very disappointed it had no soul. The story is terrible in return for "open ended open world" where you could tackle any of the 3 bosses at a time all the characters get a few hours of introduction then are irrelevant. Massive story plot holes feel like the writers just think were stupid "Zara giving time keeper us a gun" The time keeper just not utilizing his ability's in common sense ways. there only feels like there's 5 different enemies types and the bosses are just common enemies. The performance is poor and isn't well optimized. It feels so dull and uninspired for a borderlands game. Could have had a much better time playing BL2 and farcry 5 instead same experience quarter the price.
DLC spam in game (mainly voicelines, but also DLC gear drops that require acquisition of the expansions to even use... kinda confused myself there: will drop DLC only gear when you don't have it, including for purchase only class). They've completely lost sight of the borderlands feel, and were seemingly intimidated by trying to move away from the original enemies that they just.. rebranded them into different [solar+] systems and have gutted what they were meant to be. They used to be funny and delerious.. now they're just.... an imitation. same with the claptrap lines. Claptrap may have been annoying, but at least he was JUUUUST funny enough to tolerate... now he's just....... dad-joke galore.. and not even the good ones :/ Loot is..... progressively worse as well. just hit max level and i'm getting gear that does less than 1/3rd my current gear output (both in features AND in damage) not to mention getting through the game is simple and has very predictable outcomes. So far my partner and I have accurately anticipated the potential outcomes every time. Even Borderlands 3 didn't make it THIS obvious :/ TLDR: not the original borderlands feel, better for grinding, story not great, drops changed way too much :( Worse and worse progression and pay-to-play drops even if you don't have them aaaalll this being said.. i'll play at least a few hundred hours so.... not a bad game, but looking at it from a franchise perspective and not an individual game, v disappointing.
