Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 56.83/day in the week to Jul 17 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A worthy successor to Cultist sim, and a wonderful addition to the universe and lore. I can't wait for Traveling by Night!!!
Book of Hours is a game where you are a Librarian in a huge castle. You aim is to unlock all rooms and reach peak understanding, you do this by reading books, crafting items and upgrading skills. Do NOT buy this game if: - You can't handle a cluttered UI - You don't want to play with a spreadsheet - Can't multitask The reviews in this game seem split: you either have too much to do or too little. Neither is true. There is always something to do, and you can do it at your own pace. There is no rush or time pressure and there is not one way to play it. There are game days you can dedicate to just opening the rooms, and other days where you might only want to try all the different combinations to create items and log these combinations in your spreadsheet. I personally find this process fun and interesting, you don't solely unlock items to further progress, but they also help understand the overarching Lore this game is presenting. The point of the game isn't to just open rooms and reach the ending. The point is to literally read and discover and learn about this obscure 'Invisible Arts' system that's so vast and deep. It requires patience, reading, and endless sorting of items, books and skills. This is the point of the game. Some books discuss topics or entities that you've seen in other books, and when that happens, I usually refer back to the entry spreadsheet that already brought it up and add them together to gain a clearer picture. It feels like I'm investigating a mystery, which I technically am, and honestly it feels rewarding. My one strife with the game is the seemingly endless selection of skills it throws at you, and most really do feel redundant,. But you don't need to invest in all of them. When you have a better understand of how each is used and which you can do without, you can focus on upgrading the skills that do matter by using the skills that don't. If you are into chill gameplay loops, this game is perfect for you. If you love using spreadsheets while playing games (gods know I do), this game is perfect for you. But don't expect to finish this game in a few days. This game isn't for everyone, probably, but it's one of my favourite games and, if you're into any of what I've mentioned above, it's really worth a try.
I have seen the light and then apparently wrote a book about it 10/10
While there are some lag issues for me, some frustrating mechanical dead ends, and an awful lot of information to keep track of in this game, the good news is that if you like piecing together puzzles from and organising that information, Book of Hours can and will probably be a lot of fun for you. Pay attention to the tool tips and read everything, like the hints advise. =)
Really loved the idea but it didn't feel good to play. You can tell there's a lot of ideas in this but none of them are mastered. I wanted to like this game, it seems really unique. It just seems like a lot more work needs to go into it.
