Went back to play this to refresh my memory before maybe picking up the third game. Possibly the worst pretence at random number generation I've ever seen. The AI cheats, and does so blatantly. There is absolutely no pretence whatsoever, as it makes you roll consecutive skulls, 1s and makes you waste your rerolls (often from the very first roll of the game). Meanwhile, the AI rolls everything perfectly, flattens your players and makes a series of dodge rolls worthy of a four-leaf clover. There is absolutely no way in this lifetime that people have the bad luck this game seems to think is commonplace. Avoid this like the plague.
boy oh boy it really is a shame they never made a third game after this banger of a title my blitzer paralyzed himself from the neckdown trying to tie his shoelaces

gameplay is engaging as in the previous title, with a more user-friendly HUD and better cutscenes during matches .. only three types of cheerleaders but it's just a minor flaw ..
Perfectly captures the dark whimsy of Warhammer Fantasy.
The graphics are a bit more detailed, but that's about all there is to say positive about the second BB. The commentators are uninteresting, the UI is confusing, there is almost no player customization, the campaign is boring, the sound for confirming actions is downright annoying... I'll just complete the achievements and go back to the first game, which is just perfect.
The best Blood Bowl, by far. Very good balance of brutality and whimsy, a large list of factions, and systems that work like the tabletop game.
I tried for 17 miserable hours to see the appeal. There is none, play anything else.
Best Blood Bowl game on PC. So many races to play as. Funny commentary. RNG madness.
