It's not wrong either but like part 1: I imagined more out of it...More freedom and less zone play.Graphics have improved a lot and so has the humor.
If you are looking at this game and thinking it may be a spiritual successor to Mutant League, you will be sorely disappointed. I comes pretty well rated so I can only assume that those who have played the tabletop version are the large part of the fan-base. Sadly, the transfer to video game is lacking. There is no rule book that I can find. The tutorial is hidden inside the campaign mode and the interface has no intentions of helping the user. Turn-based is a ridiculous choice, that I will admit I missed in the description (I've since added a tag) but it's not even GOOD turn-based. No player speeds to allow for varied strategy. One whole team goes, then the other whole team goes. That's fine in Civ. Not in an action-centered game. I grabbed Blood Bowl 2 because the third instalment bombed in the reviews but I can't see how it could be worse than this. I'll maybe review this again in the future once the shock of what it is has worn off. But unless you are already a fan, I'd steer clear of the series.

Very fun game, its been years since I played the boardgame. The campaign story is well scripted and enjoyable while teaching the player the aspects of the game. Once you beat that and start playing in the leagues is when I have top agree that there is some bs going on with the other teams either being OP as hell while you are rookie players and they ALWAYS seem to get the good rolls. I had top rage quit for now but even if I never play again the full Legendary pack with all the DLC is hard to beat on Winter Sale for 5 bucks.
Plays just like the tabletop!!
5 blocks against random dudes in a row? Straight knockdown. Crucial Blitz on the Ball Carrier? Double Pushes. Thanks for nothing, Nuffle
