I got Lily's doll but she didn't answer her door so I spent the rest of the night sitting on the couch and nothing happened. But for real, chapters 3-4 are no where to be seen years later so while I do think this game is amazing (especially the voice acting, I could listen to Mary for ever), don't play it with deeper expectations and don't spend more than 25% of the game's cost buying it until they drop the rest of it.
It's like, 40 minutes of gameplay. There have been demo that are longer. It's the kind of game that will make you buy 'episode 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...' when each one of them is 20 seconds long. I got it for free, but I wouldn't pay for it.

The atmosphere was nice but I could not grasp what to do or where to go. I eventually got a headache from the banging sound which I hear your suppose to go downstairs which I thought was obstructed due to the darkness. Anyway wants to go further than me the steps are here... 1. answer phone 2.go upstairs to room with 3 rabbits (the father doesnt say 3 rabbits nor does the game) 3. begin the creepy paranormal stuff aka walk around and figure out where to go
MPG ARSV
I think a lot of the reviews are pretty unfair. They clearly state this is a short first chapter so why people are moaning about how short it is amazes me. OK so is the voice acting a little cringe? sure, but i genuinely liked this. The graphics are very nice and I enjoyed the story and got invested. I've played a lot of bad indie horrors full of bugs and this, is a good one. I will say I preferred the beginning of this chapter when your at the house, there were some very creepy parts to it and an eery atmosphere I think some of that was lost in the latter part but all in all its well worth the 4 quid! really, I've spent 10x as much on a game and its been awful. so thumbs up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aq83L83CNA&t=19s if anyone cares
Sorry for my english. I really loved the game. Don't listen to the bad comments and try it for yourself. As for the price, I think it's okay considering this is only one chapter, like renting a movie on YouTube. I liked the blinking a lot (it's like, the title of the game, can you read people?). I don't think the bad comments are justified considering it's only the first chapter. I really hope the developpers are gonna make the second chapter. Overall, I really liked it and the bad comments are dumb. 10/10
First, I did love the scares and stuff. BUT it ended kind of stupid and told me to play Blink: the lost chapter??? There is no Blink: The lost chapter! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! There was no explanation to the ending NOTHING. Am I missing something??
It took a lot, but once I got used to the blinking (which initially annoyed me to no end for some reason) - I changed my review to "recommended". The rest of the game is just exploding with good environment and atmosphere design. There are some flaws: 1. The interaction mechanic is weak... you have to micro-target to interact with certain things. 2. If you're not patient, you might get annoyed with the "next thing to do". 3. I found keys.. there are like 4 closed doors and the ONLY door I can actually use the keys on say "the key does not fit"... so why wouldn't the other doors have the option to try? Make me wonder is it a bug? Just weird. In summary: game design is beautiful, some mechanics are a bit annoying, but overall (once I gave it a proper chance), a well worthwhile psychological horror experience.
A very good psychological horror game with some great jump scares. The graphics are awesome and very smooth. The story does lack somewhat, but this is the first of 4 games to be released, so this may be built on in the upcoming chapters. I did notice some spelling mistakes in the notes that are picked up but this did not spoil the game play in any way. I know the game is called "blink" but the actual blinking in game sometimes happened at the most inappropriate moment,. it would be nice to have the ability to turn this off (i.e disable button in settings) or to reduce the regularity of it happening.. Again, this did not spoil the game in any way for me. Definitely worth a buy for any psychological horror game fan. Thumbs up from me Keep up the good work Abandoned House Studios, I look forward to seeing more games from you.
