About
Inspired by the iconic Blair Witch legend, this game expands the mythos with a new story set years after the original film.
You play as Ellis, a former police officer on the search for a missing boy. With only your loyal dog Bullet at your side, you push deeper into the Black Hills Forest, where the woods twist memories, warp time, and prey on your fears. As the forest closes in, you will uncover fragments of Ellis’s troubled past and face a presence that watches you from just beyond the treeline – waiting for you to lose yourself in the darkness.
Modern-day masters of horror Bloober Team channel the series’ signature tension and psychological dread, delivering a chilling journey into the heart of the Black Hills Forest.
Solve the Mystery – Investigate the disappearance of a young boy using the tools at your disposal (camera, cell phone, flashlight) to survive the nightmares that come your way.
Your Sanity Against Her Curse – Navigate a living, shifting forest filled with supernatural dangers. The way you react when in peril will determine what you ultimately learn about yourself.
A True Best Friend – Your trusted canine sidekick, Bullet, is always by your side. You can pet him and feed him treats, ortreats or choose to discipline him if he wanders off. How you treat him directly impacts your story.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

another excellent game from the Bloober team, once again proving that they can be trusted with adapting preexisting IPs into expansive and immersive virtual spaces while still remaining faithful to the original story. pros: -it definitely pushes my aging system harder than other games but even on medium settings it runs smoothly and looks incredible -extremely convincing forest design, if it weren't for the invisible boundaries that keep you on path you might forget that you're not actually walking through untamed woods irl -very few game crashes or bugs encountered during my playthrough (and most could potentially be written off as hardware issues on my end) -you get a DOG and you can PET him and give him SNACKS and his name is BULLET. cannot emphasize enough how important this mechanic is not just to me personally but also for navigating the game's abstract + ever changing environment -excellent use of lighting and sound, an unmistakably oppressive atmosphere permeates the entire experience and it really does feel like the player is dropped into their own POV horror movie experience -plenty of collectibles and lore to keep things interesting (although admittedly trying to find all of them for achievements can be frustrating at times and often includes having to backtrack, which isn't always possible in-game) -very cool and thematically appropriate creature designs -novel use of game mechanics to navigate the world (esp. as it concerns how you use the camera to avoid monsters or alter the environment to progress) -committed voice acting performances all around, Bloober's been really upping their proverbial game in this department with each new release cons: -the world you navigate is often surreal and ever changing, with entire assets disappearing behind your back and once clear pathways becoming blocked off when you're not looking. it's often difficult to know where you're supposed to be going and it wasn't until my second playthrough that I developed a reasonable sense of how to proceed in the game (which mostly came from following achievement guides and having to replay a number of parts to find collectibles). this isn't really a legitimate criticism because feeling lost in the woods is a Big Part of the Blair Witch experience, more just something to be aware of going in -Unreal Engine tends to be dicey on my machine with respect to random crashes or performance, this might be because of my specific build but i've seen people talk about it in reviews for other games so I have a feeling it's not just me. hoping these issues resolve themselves with time (and eventually upgraded hardware) but as mentioned earlier, these issues were thankfully few & far between in both of my playthroughs can't recommend this game enough for horror enjoyers or of Blair Witch media in general. it remains faithful to its source while managing to build on the lore in unique and engaging ways and integrating novel in-game mechanics to cement a spooky legacy all its own. as always, cannot wait to see what other horror releases come from Bloober in the future!
Good horror game,
Blair Witch'i bitirdim. Tavsiye ederim.
One of the best horror games I have ever played! It's a short game, but it's definitely worth it! The game does a good job at keeping you on your toes and the sound design is amazing with some very nice surround sound trickery. It does have few jumpscares, but what this does better than many others is that when a scare happens, you're actually in danger afterwards. Definitely going to put this to my list of top scariest games I've played! Solid 9/10
A floresta é quase a própria entidade. AMEI!
