Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Been over a decade since i last played this game on my ps3. I saw it on sale for $3 and decided to give it another go. After downloading the fix for the video card, it started up and i relived my nostalgia. i feel the game still holds up today.
Took me a lot of time to barely start it, but there is a different problem - controls are so stiff and awkward, and the game feels too short. Probably the only game in the world where the Game Boy version feels better! I would recommend it but only during big discount. Not worth the full price, that's for sure, especially since it's not optimized properly for newer PCs. And playing on Steam Deck? Forget about it, even with those custom Protons.

If you're a beginner, try the game in Easy mode first. Some platforming sections want to drain every life out of you, so practicing them with a safety net is key. This game DOES work on computers in the present day, March 17, 2026. You need to do some of the two: Restrict the exe to four cores/threads, install the PhysX drivers (Legacy and present). You can refer to this article on help. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2849066763
I grew up with this game. (Only the demo on the PS3 until 2021, when I finally bought it.) Having played through this game is a breeze- it felt natural after overcoming the adjustments I had playing the NES and C64 versions these past years. (I grew up playing Rearmed, not the NES or Arcade or C64 versions) Though the difficulty does spike, there is a lot of room to adapt, even with the limited lives you have on Normal difficulty. Completing a boss is VERY gratifying. I still struggle with the Albatross. The level is longer than 16 minutes, and the first outside section with the collapsing platforms is VERY irritating. Having limited lives is the biggest pain here. I barely got to see
revived HItler
before I was immediately exploded off of my last life, the ultimate let-down in history. Literally. Through avoiding it, however, I tried the Challenge Rooms, which are a very fun addition to the game. It has you master your bionic arm, fully fleshing out the mechanics of platforming in this game, which made it very special to me. It's very tight, and somewhat disappointing, but it's a gratifying experience. Co-op is a very nice addition. If you have a friend to tag along, though it's a little frustrating with platforming, being able to share the experience is a nice addition. However, Having a sort of "party" FFA mode seems extraordinary. Though, yes, it COULD be fun, there is rarely ANYONE to play with due to the target demographic of this game. I've only had it once, and people did not like it. Though it's a fun idea, this game was not designed for it. It doesn't mean I don't like it, but I like it the least in this game. I had already bought this game on another platform, and got $25 to spend on this game and a few others as a birthday gift yesterday.

An excellent remake of the original classic.
First up, I want to point out that the amount of set-up I had to do for this one is ridiculous. The game didn't boot at first until an older version of NVidia's Aegia PhysX was installed. Do not buy this on Steam unless you're willing to do some set-up to get it running. As for the actual game, Rearmed is yet another remake/reimagining of the 1988 NES original. I think Rearmed does a better job updating it for modern audiences than the GB game by adding in more bosses, a decent minigame when hacking enemy computers, and some fun challenge rooms. There's also some additional content in the endgame that I won't spoil, but upped the difficulty pretty significantly. The biggest issue I have with this game is easily the visual style. I get what the game was going for (a literal 3D reimagining of the NES game), but it comes across as very cheap. Having played some of Capcom's other revivals, such as Strider (2014), Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection, and Mega Man 11, I think those games do a much better job at carrying their respective series' visual styles forward. The music was alright but nothing special. I cannot recommend getting this game on Steam due to the major issues present with getting the game to run at all on a modern PC, despite the fact that I did enjoy the game overall.
