Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The concept is really cool, but it is way too expensive for the state that it is in. The UI isn't easy to understand, and doesn't look very good. It doesn't run well at all on lower end devices either. I think this has potential for sure, but I can't really enjoy it in the state that it's in. The AI is also faulty. This is just a marginally better NUKEMAP but 30$ more expensive.
I was able to nuke france and wipe it of the map. 10/10 Would play it again.
Basically just Google Earth with lines that move by themselves.

This is not a game in the traditional sense. It is a highly sophisticated simulation platform designed to explore the terrifying reality of nuclear war in extraordinary detail. Rather than offering entertainment, it offers insight—deep, technical, and sobering. Before its release, Alex Wellerstein’s well-known NUKEMAP was the most widely recognized public tool for modeling nuclear detonations. While NUKEMAP remains excellent for quick, educational overviews, Nuclear War Simulator operates on an entirely different scale. It is exponentially more detailed—easily ten times more comprehensive in scope and analytical capability. This simulator allows you to model hundreds of warheads, delivery systems, target sets, and strategic doctrines. You can examine blast effects, fallout dispersion, casualties, infrastructure destruction, second-strike scenarios, and large-scale exchanges with remarkable precision. The level of granularity transforms abstract Cold War theory into something disturbingly tangible. For serious students of nuclear strategy, military history, deterrence theory, or geopolitical risk modeling, this is an indispensable tool. It bridges the gap between academic theory and operational visualization. The learning curve is real—but so is the intellectual payoff. I rate Nuclear War Simulator 9 out of 10 stars. The missing point reflects features that appear to be under development and will likely be added in future releases. Even in its current state, however, it stands as the most detailed civilian-accessible nuclear conflict simulation available. This is not casual software. It is a lens into one of the most consequential realities of modern civilization.
This is definitely a SIMULATOR, not a game. I bought it, thinking it was a game. After purchasing it, I realized the mistake. But steam wouldn't allow the refund. So I began to tinker around with it. Definitely an eye opening simulator, especially in the times we live in today. Again, this is a SIMULATOR. I will say this, if WW3 happens, you won't need to worry about any reviews. If this simulator is accurate......... Even though it was a mistake buying it. I do not regret it now. It is unique, something different. I would recommend it .
Spent 312 hours making new kinds of missiles and deploying them against different countries. Money well spent! Oh, and the dev is active in the Steam forums and has replied positively to a suggestion I made. Highly recommended.
Game makes you kill 6% of the Indian population
firsly its more of a simulation than a game. and i recommand it for the ones who really like nuclear wars. ive played this hours on hours on hours. i love that you can create your own units for countries. really recommand it to those who love to see the consequences of nuclear wars.
pretty intresting simulator not a game tho
This game is really freakin' fun. The attention to detail is really amazing, and once you get the hang of the mechanics and the UI you can create really fun and unique scenarios. 8/10
