About
Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking.
Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless.
Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk.
Talking!
Our proximity voice chat system makes voices fade across distances, echo down corridors, muffle through walls, and crackle through walkie-talkies
Walking!
Find your way around an open world together, at your own pace
Arms!!
Point, wave, and gesture (or just flail around wildly) to communicate in situations where talking isn’t an option
Tools and Toys
Walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, flares, whiteboards (?), cowbells (??), a big golden head (???) and more
Flexible Player Count
Big Walk can be played with as few as 2 players (i.e. a focused co-op experience) or as many as 12 (i.e. an absolute mess)
Crossplay
Play online with your friends on other platforms
An Ending
Big Walk is a hand-crafted cooperative adventure meant to be played start-to-finish with a group of friends

Peak Walk
GOTY. Please play this game with three other dedicated friends who know nothing about it and who you can trust with simple puzzles (and aren't in the same room as you). Definitive friendgem, lots of love poured into this experience.

amazing game
Walk....... but BIG
This is actually my GOTY
I really didn't like this game at first, and you might not either, but it grew on me. I only played with 2 people total, and the amount of people you have can vary the enjoyment from this game IMMENSELY, so my review does not speak for 3 or more people AT ALL. The game starts off as a little fun exploration and puzzle adventure, but a few pain points stick out: Lack of storage, lack of direction, and traversal. The lack of direction is the point, but until you get your bearings it can be a tad confusing. You need to carry important things, but you won't know what exactly is important, or where to carry them - this leads to the next point. The lack of storage will be a constant source of frustration. There's a bunch of cool gadgets that are completely worthless the moment you need to carry something important. This gets addressed but it takes either time or luck. The traversal has no solution. The environment and the rocks can be finnicky to get around, and they stay that way until the end of the game. The day/night cycle is also a huge source of annoyance. Sometimes, you don't have a light (probably because you couldn't afford to carry one) and have to wait out the total darkness. Not a huge deal, but annoying at times and much worse in the early game. This game is true to its name in that there is a lot of walking. There is no way around it. You will be holding forward and doing nothing else, often. Even once you've figured out the map, you must walk. When you're still exploring this is fun because you might stumble upon a new puzzle! When you've done a bunch of the puzzles, it's not as fun. The environment aside from the puzzles and little items is completely uninteresting. Exploring alone is almost entirely useless because everything you'll encounter requires multiple people to solve. The times you do split up for puzzles are sorta fun. I feel like getting lost and split up can be a source of enjoyment, but that's not going to happen unless you do it on purpose or have a huge accident. Even then, it's just holding forward until you get back to a meeting spot. Lastly, before I get to why I actually like the game, I need to mention that this game somehow got my PC hotter than any other game I have ever played. I had to change all of the settings and I didn't notice much of a difference between graphics except draw distance; buildings in the distance didn't show at all on the lowest settings. This game is very chill and relaxing. The puzzles range from literally nothing to fun brain-teasing teamwork challenges. It seems like their main goal, aside from the puzzles, was to provide a few chic spots to hang out with friends. As neat as those were, I never found us staying near them long. I've heard many people mention that this game would be fun with public lobbies or strangers, and I absolutely agree. I also think that this game has huge horror potential, oddly enough. It's a game. It's an adventure! It's a team building exercise. It's an experiment. It's an artistic vision, and I respect that! It's.. a lot of walking and doing nothing, if I'm being honest. But when you actually DO things, it's enjoyable. It's not friendslop, it has a goal and some forms of progression that do feel meaningful. I got about 8 hours out of it and might get a few more. If that justifies the price point for you and you have at least one friend to play with, this is worth giving a shot.
