Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

a fantastic and shining example of a diamond in the rough in regards to modern point and click adventure games. Capturing the magic of the original game while delivering an amazing twist on the previous world in which to build upon. Gameplay is challenging while also allowing for various hints and helpful nods to complete current goals in a way that never truly feels bad one way or the other. Overall I'd give this game an 8/10 and I stand by the idea that people should play this game in the least to wonder through the fantastic narrative and visual journey.
Beyond a steel sky!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The intro of the game was pretty good but game fell off shortly after. Then it picks back up few hours later. 👍
Can't believe they managed to make a sequel. Love it! Thanks!!
If you like story-heavy plays, this is the one for you. Follow the path of a savior--whether that's you or your friend--and save your village kids. It's all about finding out what happened to whom, and how, and where to go to get these information. You get a nifty scanner that you can further implement into helping you with your journey. What it personally reminds me of is the Big Brother regime of the old tale 1984, in some areas. Set in the future, however, so that makes for a whole lot of interesting world aspects once you reach the city. Without spoiling too much, at the end of it all: it calls for a wholesome time.
Peak, but geared towards very smart people. If you use 0 hints (like me) you will feel so satisfied. 100% would recommend. Try your best to not use hints.
Game was fun, gameplay was ok, but HATED the story with missing kids and that adult guy had kids friend and he went to look for it, imature and idiotic. They could go for more dark and mature story about AI control, like it was there but just a bit
I loved this ... wasn't sure if I would after devoting around 5 hours to the first game in the series (beneath a steel sky) and finding it dull. This is a major step up from the first game in my opinion. Obviously graphics are heaps better, and the story flowed without feelings of too much time wasting back-tracking to fetch things (and getting lost in the process; a problem I found with the first game). The hacking and other puzzle elements were different and I loved them. Had no technical issues; it ran like a dream on my PC. Highly recommended to fans of this genre.
Being a *huge* fan of the original Beneath a Steel Sky, I had this sitting in my account for a long time - putting off playing it in fear of it not being a "worthy successor". Finally started playing it and, yeah, it's wonderful. They pulled off bringing back the cozy yet dystopic feel of Union City. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out...
Good for fans of the original (as long as they don't mind the shift to 3D) - lots of nods and callbacks.
