Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.71/day in the week to Aug 23 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

Only on discount. Even then, it doesn't feel worth it that much, because at times it's difficult to understand where to go. Stealth is supposedly supposed to be the main way of getting around but it's near impossible with so many enemies and getting out of any hiding spot is somehow THAT loud that every enemy in the vicinity of 5-10 meters KNOWS. An unreasonably barebones "combat" system. I did want to like the game.
It's a cool game with an emotional story. My only negative would be the combat, it's super bad. Like you can barely dodge the attacks of the enemies. But if you ignore that, it has good mechanics and the puzzles are fun. I recommend it.
How in god's name is this game so well reviewed, I played through it with a friend on the steam family share and they want my money back it was so trash, we failed to find any redeeming qualities between the viewpoint of 4 people and one of my friends had to call it a night early with how godawful it was watching it Bioshock without the charm, with a little bit of Dishounoured if it was made without any love, there is no combat, there is like 1 interesting character design specifically from this game, the stealth is so textbook you could find it in a game design 101 workshop (you're supposed to ADD things to the template not USE THE TEMPLATE ON IT'S OWN, POORLY), there's no progression, the abilities are uninspired (YOU ARE AN INK CREATURE, WHY CAN YOU DISINTEGRATE PEOPLE), the story is disjointed and poorly constructed with characters doing random bs for poorly explained reasons and poorly thought out motivations, the game just drags on and on, room after room larping as a survival horror when it just respawns you 15 feet away when you die and all of the pickups are useless or bloat (god FORBID a videogame has actual consumables), the fast travel is clunky, there's no map or clear pointers in most sections, random invisible walls in the environment making platforming inconsistent, for the most part uninspired boss designs bar maybe one, quite literally the cheapest jumpscares someone can make (barely a tier above gmod horror maps gluing a png to your face with an 145db screaming sound effect) why the hell is there an unkillable enemy which exists only to randomly unavoidably scream in your face then hit you, the butcher gang is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invincible for some reason (they have no reason for existing other than cameo reasons), crafting cards for lockers is pointless because good loot doesn't exist and you get less than you put in almost every single time, they have the NERVE to slot in an entire area which just gets in your personal space and goes "remember the first game yeah the first game, that pretty alright game with some novel ideas yeahhhhh you liked that game right here's all the weapons, AND the projectionist's head! look here's bertrum piedmont! and he's looking at you! wasn't that a pretty cool section woah woah jingle jingle!" Bendy and the Dark Revival manages to accomplish nothing, provide no real gameplay, has a poorly told story (despite how much telling they do), and it's only redeeming quality is that the environments are pretty alright, so long as you ignore the black voids you see every now and again because they don't know where to put loadzones ALL of the things you can do with the idea of a massive underground facility previously used for an enormous scale traditional 2d animation operation possessed by supernatural forces, you could have an entire area dedicated to keyframe animators with jittery motion that you need to parry on the timing of their movements as they awkwardly zip towards you trying to strike you, you could have the department in charge of backgrounds be a massive shifting labyrinth of winding halls and freeform environments, god your character is made of INK for god's sake let them play with SCALE and FORM a little bit and turn their hands into ink blades or let them toss ink projectiles mixed with nitroglycerin or use a ranged whip or grapple attack, your character's ENTIRE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BIT is that they are MADE OF A SHIFTING FORMLESS SUBSTANCE WHICH THEY CAN MORPH INTO ANYTHING, and the ONLY INK RELATED ABILITY THEY HAVE IS CRAPPY FAST TRAVEL WHERE YOU SQUEEZE THROUGH A SHOWER HEAD TO GOD KNOWS WHERE, WHY CAN YOU TELEPORT, IT IS SO EXCESSIVELY OUT OF PLACE AND DEVOID OF THOUGHT This game is simply just a massive letdown with developers whom of which simply lack an ounce of imagination and manage to tread over old ground, limping and moaning, unable to even live up to the quality of things that have already been done before countless times in gameplay, story or aesthetic, it's souless, and the voice acting is endlessly TRASH, Bendy has GOT to have been hired off Fiverr while he was coming down from a nasty flu while being fresh out of throat medicine, he is unintelligble without subtitles AND his mechanics are bad This review page is making me feel like a crazy person, with a few other crazy people also in the negative review section trying to make sense of this pile of ♥♥♥♥, "I loved the story" THE STORY IS TOLD SO POORLY THAT 90% OF THE DETAILS OF WHY ANYTHING IS HAPPENING IS IN PILES OF TEXT, JUST WRITE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOOK IF YOUR STORY IS UNINTELLIGIBLE WITHOUT TEXT WALLING, "The gameplay was a massive stepup!" THERE IS NO GAMEPLAY, YOUR COMBAT IS SHUFFLING BACK AND FOURTH LIKE AN OLD GRANDMA WHIPPING A POOL NOODLE ON THE SAME GOO PERSON FOR 80% OF THE GAME, YOUR STEALTH DOESN'T REQUIRE THINKING OR STRATEGIC PLAY, YOU DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE ENEMIES, YOU SIT IN A BOX WAITING FOR THEM TO WANDER OFF FOR A GOOD 20-25% OF YOUR PLAYTIME, "Visually it's amazing!" THERE ARE TWO ENEMIES FOR MOST OF THE GAME AND ONE OF THEM IS UNKILLABLE, YOU JUST FIGHT GOO PEOPLE, THE ALICE BOSS FIGHT HAS BEEN DONE AT LEAST 20 TIMES BEFORE IN OTHER GAMES AND IT MANAGES TO MAKE GETTING SHOT AT WITH A TOMMY GUN BORING, THE ENVIRONMENTS ARE ALL THE SAME STAGNANT COLOUR AND THERE'S NO SENSE OF SCALE OR MASSIVENESS, EVERY ROOM MANAGES TO SOMEHOW FEEL CRAMPED, THEY NEVER PLAY WITH INTERESTING LIGHTING, YOUR CHARACTER NEVER DOES ANYTHING VISUALLY INTERESTING, BENDY DOESN'T EVEN CHASE YOU ANYMORE HE JUST LOOKS AT YOU LIKE THIS AND YOU DIE I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMOOOOOOORE
My brother who never games played The Ink Machine for free in Epic games and it was his first story mode game to finish ever he loved it so much so I bought this part for him to continue the game He liked the first one more because Dark Revival has very complicated map it makes you get bored so quickly but overall the game series is so good
