Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery

I received a free key for this game from a magazine I subscribe to. I was promised cozy and cats, and Behind the Frame definitely delivered! I went in thinking this was a puzzle game, but its actually more "point-and-click" finding clues, then filing in the blanks. Gameplay is very simple, more meditative than anything. The art and music are gorgeous, and while the animation is limited it is beautiful too. The voice acting is...less beautiful, but fairly sparse. The story was not what I expected, and I actually ended up playing it through twice to gain an understanding (and felt kinda dumb once it clicked). There was a specific chapter where the tone darkened and through me for a loop, but in the end the story is very sweet. I would best describe this game as thoughtful and meditative, inviting you to pause, reflect, and notice the world around you.

美术很像吉卜力，流程很短的动漫小解密，背景音乐配合的氛围非常到位，就好似我在宁静的午后翻开了一本绘本，带给我非常细腻浪漫的感受。人与人的缘分有时止于相遇相知，最后各自奔赴不同的人生轨迹，未曾说出口的心意被珍藏于笔墨，遗憾之余，亦是圆满，静下心来，倾听画语吧。

我觉得有些挺有意义的，偏解密。因为我也是学美术，我觉得挺好玩的，虽然体量小点

A beautifully crafted game and story. I loved the puzzles and how you had to really paint to solve them. Only took about two hours to finish the main story and the free DLC, but I loved every second. Definitely do the free DLC in the menu after completion!! I almost missed it and I'm so glad I didn't. A nice cozy, tug-at-your-heartstrings, one-sitting game.

画风比较温馨，也是个温暖简单的小故事，但更像一部动画短片，而非游戏，作为游戏可玩内容太少，剧情线也太简单。作为文艺短片可以只讲很简单的故事，因为有画面和音乐加持，短片就是用来看的；但是作为游戏，需要玩家沉浸体验需要玩家操作，首先就是操作少，其次就是故事太简单并且不沉浸，主人公的故事全凭PPT展示，玩家无法深入情感氛围。不过值得夸奖的是音乐烘托氛围不错，[spoiler] 以及最后玩家是画框中的人这一点设计非常不错 [/spoiler]。[u] 总体来说作为游戏缺点太明显，不推荐游玩。 [/u]
