For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a survival fleet-management roguelite with procedural narrative design and real-time space battles. Shoulder the heavy burden of leadership as you make critical decisions for your fleet’s survival under constant pressure.
You command a fleet of survivors relentlessly chased by the Cylon Fleet. Each new run represents another desperate attempt to rejoin Humanity’s last hope: the Battlestar Galactica.
Prepare, fight, and survive at all costs.
So say we all.

Fleet Management phases offer limited turns to prepare until the next inevitable Cylon assault. As the enemy draws closer, designate priorities to ensure your fleet’s survival:
Dispatch expeditions to nearby points of interest for resources
Allocate supplies and personnel to resolve urgent situations
Upgrade ships for survivability and firepower
Train crew to improve efficiency in and out of combat

Your decisions continuously affect the Fleet’s overall status: faction politics, healthcare, and maintenance levels. Each indicator dynamically triggers narrative events tailored to your fleet’s condition. Your fleet’s fate can evolve in drastic ways if you’re not careful: epidemics, critical system malfunctions, or even a full-blown civil war.
In times of crisis, the Fleet looks to you to make hard decisions. Given your limited resources and time, determine if your fleet can afford to solve a crisis immediately or suffer its negative effects over time.
Perhaps the most challenging crisis you’ll face will be discovering a Cylon has infiltrated your ranks: investigating suspects will cost resources, but taking too long will cost lives.

The Cylon Fleet overwhelmingly outnumbers you. Each encounter is about survival, not victory. Fight high-risk tactical battles while your fleet prepares an FTL jump to safety.
Coordinate frontline squadrons with powerful Gunstar strikes in real time
Use Tactical Pause at any time to preview your attacks and enemy movements
Create synergies to deploy enemy-specific strategies by leveraging your unit strengths and unique abilities.

Rejoining the Battlestar Galactica is a perilous mission with no margin for error. Most fleets will fail, but each attempt will provide new ways to overcome the unforgiving odds stacked against your survival.
Unlock up to four starting fleets, each with its own unique playstyle
Clear trials to access additional squadron units, gunstar weapons, and modifiers that will appear in your next run
Invest in valuable meta upgrades that will benefit all future fleets you command
Challenge higher difficulty levels to test your limits as a commander

Definitiv empfehlenswert!
This game is great, I haven't played a ton, but I was thoroughly surprised by how well it captured the mood of BSG. If you're on the fence, give the demo a try, but for the price it's worth the dip. Gameplay is a bit like advanced FTL. It plays a fair bit slower, the fights are very tactical, and in-between you resolve events to keep resources up, balance opposing factions among the civilian ships, manage multiple crisis, improve the ship and recover from the latest combat. A full run takes a few hours or more. The negative reviews about the "Dodger" class ships and some of the other RNG are totally valid, the dodger is generally a super annoying ship and some encounters are loaded with them, and those do suck. The flood of events can get feeling oppressive, especially near the end; however I feel really matches the tension of the BSG universe, and is a great fit for the universe overall. It does slow the pacing down and can be a little annoying in that way, but I wouldn't want to see major changes to the system.

Must have for hardcore fans of BSG.
This game is great. If you think you might like it, you probably will. I am really confused by some of the negative reviews. This game isn't ESPECIALLY difficult. It is a rogue-like, so it can absolutely be challenging, but my first tutorial run, I got about 1/3 through, and I won my fourth run. The combat isn't especially hard either. It rewards thinking about what you're doing, and constantly building your fleet to synergize. It is real-time-with-pause, and the pause is ESSENTIAL to be using constantly. I suspect that people who are having trouble with the combat aren't using pause enough or at all. I don't find the crises particularly oppressive either. For the most part you know when they're coming, and it IS a resource management game, so it will absolutely throw things at you to make your run harder. But thats kind of the point, and most crises are usually pretty quick to deal with. The game can absolutely snowball though, so good RNG can snowball into an easy run, and bad RNG can make for a real struggle. But if you die, just start another run like any other roguelike.
This feels like playing those first four episodes of BG! Legitimately on the edge of my seat playing through each run. I'm a bit disappointed at the mix of graphical styles. I absolutely love the 8bit renderings of the bridge scenes, but it clashes with the painterly story overlays and the 3D combat scenes. This makes the game feel less cohesive, like it was created by 3 different teams. There are some polish and graphical issues (overlays and blocking events are inconsistent, the "grey overlay" doesn't quite line up with the screen; the game doesn't respect laptops with "camera notch" cutouts at the top). A quick "bug fix" week of dev time would sort this all out, so looking forward to future polish patches to really tidy it up. Despite my quibbles with the presentation, overall the game still works very well together. The depth of progression for your BattleStar, your Heroes, your Squadrons, and even your Support Ships (nevermind the various other ugprades...) really does make it feel like you are honing your fleet over the course of the run. Some upgrades are legitimately exciting, big-ticket unlocks. Ultimately, I think it's worth the money to play through successfully even just once (which took me 3 attempts). The escalation system isn't particularly interesting to me, but the other fleets are. This might be sequel or DLC territory, but I like to see things play out - and don't like using anything with an activateable ability. Is there a way we can have AI run the squadrons during combat? (Playing via crossover on OSX and it works great. Would love to see a native build.)
Yes *... I absolutely LOVE supporting smaller Development houses and applaud the teams for this game. I'm over EA and Bethesda (Microsoft), etc. ruling the world here. So, I wish I didn't have to have the "*", but I do... here's why: I absolutely love the game for the most part. I found myself playing it nonstop for a couple days (60 hrs?!). I'm very tenacious though and just wouldn't give up. Good thing? Dunno. My MetaCritic Score might be an 80? To get it higher, I would love to see the devs make some adjustments: 1) The difference between "Normal" difficulty and "Easy" seems ridiculous to me. I tried 12 times on "Normal" (not new to Strategy games), without success (made it 1 second to victory, but there was way too much crap for "normal"). "Easy" was way too easy. I flew through in 1 try. 1 vs. 12 tries ... hmmmm. 2) It's difficult when you're making "life and death decisions" (haha) to know exactly which is better when you can't see ALL of your resources on every screen. IE: you are asked if you want to give just 4 resources away for something gained... but you haven't yet allocated those mentally to all the other SH*IT going on, do I do it? I dunno because I don't know exactly how much I have - only a guess). If I'm COMMANDING the fleet, give me ALL the info. Then I can make a commanding decision (not hope). This hinders you several times when 8 things are pending and you are basically out of everything. I get that this isn't meant to be easy (Except "Easy" seems way too), but balance is required here (and #1). 3) 3 factions or groups trying to gain influence wouldn't be so bad if there weren't such extreme sways to "Tense" for just having said no to that group 1 damn time. Really? Also, "Fair" was the best I can do even after saying "Yes" to all your stuff? I'm saving the fleet here and our species (and your asses are here riding along, right?), you can't just calm down for a turn or two? Also, this realtionship fly-out could be more specific. IE: let me know that if I say no to this thing now, the relationship turns to "X" - not just deteriorates (drastically is a bit more information but still). I should be able to have good relations with everyone if I'm doing a good job - healthcare, maintenance, etc. are all good? We're sitting around eating ice-cream and there aren't breaches and people dying.. and you're complaining? Trying to master the balance (because it's way too punishing when things go "tense") should be doable. Also - before I can do anything - right out the gate - people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about what they want..? really? we barely escaped with our lives? Reality check people. More realism here would be awesome. Speaking of... so if a group behaves really badly... and I have 2 other groups (ie: Military) on my side or highly influential, there are no repercussions for bad behavior? I think I should have a lot to say about that - since I'm commanding everything. You consume resources, air and take up space - I get to say what is too much without everything falling into chaos. Maybe that's a different game. I get that things are absolutely terrible (Shattered Hopes)... but again - Normal may just need some tweaks. The swings seem wide between the degrees of worse you have to deal with. One "run" I made it all the way to the end because it seemed much more light than the prior where I just couldn't get a breath to evaluate anything. I would overhaul the relationship (Influence) and the random requests that are constant with no notice and that would make this game a near perfect one. 4) Would've loved to have played as BSG 75 (at some point?). This seems like solid progression to me vs. a gunship with only 3500 hull max? :/ Can this be the sequel? Please?! :) And would you let me position my gunship in front of the civilian ships? So using them as shields is acceptable? LOL Having said all that... here's what shines (and brightly): 1) If you love strategy, this doesn't get much more strategic. With improvements above, it would be even more strategy, because you need more info to make such important decisions (based on all resources available for example). I mean, this is live... or die. Right? OK, 'nuff of that now already. 2) Gameplay is smooth, music is enjoyable. It's not hard to figure out HOW to play it mechanically. 3) * Slight spoiler alert *: Cylon research / discovery was a neat twist. With only 3 people and not even enough people to go get what we need, taking an action out of commission was disappointing. Maybe put in a few more missions and bring this to start further down the road when I have more crew to help while someone is in the Brig? Or shorter Brig time? 4) Probably the most fun for me was all the upgrades and perks you get to provide Heros and ships (and shop for). The variety in this area was really fun. Still uncovering new things (and ships!) all the time. If this could be applied to other areas, the game would be immensely even more enjoyable. 4) I think 6 ships instead of 5 would be good. You need resources, but then there's not much room for repair, medical, etc. if you really want to provide balance to succeed. A Casino Ship? Cool! But I had to let it go. :/ I cried... 5) Replayability seems very high. Given that I still have a bunch to unlock and whole fleets I can't even use yet, that's great. But after playing a dozen times with the same fleet and "Victory" is mine, give me some replay options, will ya?

Хорошая игра для фанатов вселенной. Ощущение безысходности с кризисами без положительного исхода. Все как в кино.
Narrative-driven roguelike set in the incredible setting of Battlestar Galactica. Everything is tailored to reproduce the sense of stress and impending doom that made people love the series, and the fights are a great reminder that you're never really safe from losing it all. The characters feel human (see what I did there) and the dialogues feel very organic. Meta-progression feels generous enough to want to try again and do better when you fail. Music is good, in alignment with the show. Incredible game, big recommend.
Une sorte de bébé de FTL et Hades, c'est vraiment de la bombe !
