Battlefield™ 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5.83/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 7.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

spent an hour and a half trying to fix the EA launcher thinking I was running windows 11 when I am running windows 10 which was stopping anti-cheat from installing after trying every fix AI could come up with my only option was to go and change my BIOS settings to match what it wanted for a win 11 machine and I am not changing my BIOS setup for a game luancher that can't tell what OS I am running.
Changing system requirements years after the game released? Really shady. League of Legends has an anti-cheat system without secure boot. EA small indie company couldn't do that.
Years of polish have turned an abysmal launch title into an extremely well tuned mechanism. The visuals are goofy and underbaked but gunplay is so dialed in compared to BF6 and every BF title previous (though I've only played back to BF2). I have 1000+ hours on my primary account which was EA-banned for referring to 9/11 in chat. The in-game audio is flawless in High Dynamics mode: pinpoint player positioning cues better than Apex. The SOUNDTRACK is unparalleled anywhere in the series and Hildur Guenadottir absolutely nailed the "climate-apocalypse" theme. The menu and map loading tracks are unbelievably catchy, and the rest of the soundtrack is insanely good at creating discordant and eerie atmospheres. We will never have as brave and innovative a soundtrack as this: the pushback that white incels spewed onto reddit pressures EA's shareholders to gatekeep any daring passion projects like this soundtrack from happening again. ♥♥♥♥ them. Battlefield was borne from passion, and this OST is 100% genetic. This was a god awful hype-chaser of a game during the pandemic, but half a decade later it is only snappy and satisfying.
Хорошая игра просто расслабить мозг вечером. Нет смысла брать заполную стоимость, только по очень хорошей скидке, примерно если игра будет стоить как шаурма
говнецо какое то
Game is great now but sadly the company running it is ♥♥♥♥. Got my account hacked and they don't have any proper support. never making another EA account ever.
Este juego es realmente malo, el único con el que he tenido muchos problemas para iniciar en diferentes computadoras... Ya probé todas las configuraciones de arranque seguro pero no me deja iniciarlo... Están perdiendo...
Absolutely one of the worst Battlefield games ever made. The game is basically dead—most matches are filled with AI bots because there aren't enough real players. Finding full, active servers is a joke. On top of that, the optimization is terrible. My CPU would randomly spike in temperature, even hitting 100°C, and the game caused my PC to crash multiple times. No other game on my system does this. Whether it's poor optimization or bad CPU usage, it's unacceptable. If you're thinking about buying Battlefield 2042, don't. Save your money. If you already bought it and can still refund it, refund this garbage immediately. There are far better Battlefield games and shooters out there that actually run properly and have active player bases.
